I got my Octavia a couple of weeks ago. I was excited since the car had a Canton sound system and i like listening to music when i drive. The problem is that, compared to my Passat with dynaudio, the build quality of the doors are aweful! The sound gets distorted and the entire door vibrates with the bass making it impossible to listen to any music. Has anyone here modified the doors with some kind of dampening material/mats. I did this many years ago (when i was young :D) to a couple of cars. Back then it was quite easy and the door panels was easy to work with. Tips/tricks anyone? guide on how to remove the door panels?

The problem was sorted when the engine was hot! the rubbe part felt like it had some glue on it almost sticky. Thanks for all the tips!

I was trying to change the spark plugs today on my 1.8Tsi -2015 Octavia. I loosened it all and removed the ignition coil thinking that the "rubber tube" around it would also be removed with the coil. The coil was separated from the rubber and i can not get it out. Tried pulling but only broke the rubber a little. Managed to put it back in and mount the coil again. Anyone got any tips? am i doing it wrong? has it got something to do with the small hole (circled in blue)? Suggestions?

I have been struggling to find something of a guide to install a rear view camera. I can´t seem to find anything good. Some links are not working and some just makes no sense Has anyone installed a camera on a Octavia -15 with my head unit? I need some advice. Thanks!

My car has just had an optimization to 225hk (from 180hk). The tech.guy wanted me to get new spark plugs. What kind should i user? Octavia 1.8tsi 2015. Thanks!

After The car has been lowered with coilovers The lights are too low. Is there a way to adjust this? 2012 skoda superb

Done! Had some problems getting the B12 kit so i ordered a AP Coilover kit. After two adjustments to the height i got i to work just fine! The car feels much more responsive and stiff. Here are some samples.

Just got my AP Coilovers mounted and the car looks much better than stock.w Also i had some time to make some adjustments to the hood emblem and grill. Peeled the original "paint" and sanded it down. Painted it matte black and bought a black emblem. Looks alot better imho.

I acutally found a dealer close to me (denmark) that looks good. A little bit more expensive (429,82 £ for B12)but it is worth it since it is faster. He also replies very fast on mail and answers all my stupid questions. The thing is that i dont want it to low so coilovers would be a good alternative since i can adjust the height. Is there anyone who has the B12 kit on a superb who can post a image from the side, just to see how low it gets!

Just got another email from the same company saying that they dont have the item in stock even though they have it in stock on the webpage. For future reference do not order from https://www.aze-tuning.de/ Slow mail response and not accurate stock. I have now "lost" about 2weeks because of this company.

I had to cancel the order since the company i ordered from replied that they did not have it in stock (had more than 8 when i ordered). They blamed it on Eibach and that they were rebuilding the warehouses. Got my money back and ordered from another dealer....same thing. So i guess that Eibach cant deliever. It´s annoying that they say on the webpage that it is in stock when it´s not... But then i found a coilover kit that looked quite good. It was not the cheap ones nor the most expensive ones. I got them for 570 euro which is what i was going to pay for the B12 kit. The kit is from Vogtland and will lower 15-40mm which is perfect for me. There is another kit that will lower even more,' I´ll update when i get them, Kind regards from Sweden!
