  1. Only just seen this reply, sorry for digging up an old post, I didn't mean for that to come across as a form of 'dig' mate, I love your Vrs but I'm just not keen on the part of the spoiler across the bootlid, I was told that was the difference between the reps and originals? Although it appears I may have been misinformed....
  2. The k250 ko3s hybrid by beachbuggy turbos is rated for around the 250-260bhp mark, and is a fair bit cheaper than the k300 hybrid, still a 3s but has seen figures well into the 300+ ponies! I have a mate with a 270bhp ko4 Vrs and a mate with a k300 golf gti, power on both cars is awesome but i feel the ko4 feels more agressive to drive, whereas the k300 feels more refined. Personally id sooner fork out a bit more on a ko3s hybrid and have a bolt on replacement rather than saving money but having to faff aroumd swapping stuff for the ko4 setup
  3. I think the Vrs has to have a real 'in your face' look to pull the wrc spoiler off, I'm in 2 minds to put 1 on mine but I don't like the bit that runs across the top of the boot.... rep it is lol
  4. You just couldnt help yourself back on team black magic!! I just lol'd because your plate says jizzer.....
  5. Have you checked for a power feed at the connector plug mate?
  6. The Mk1 Octy should have come with a widemouth from the factory....looks so aggresive!
  7. The hairpins are off a Zt mate so 18 inch 5x100 et45 and centre bore 56.1 so you'll need spacers and the centres boring out by 1mm
  8. Haha thanks mate! It's not bad to say the paint isnt the best! It's being resprayed when it comes off the road at the end of may time to make it awesome!!!!
  9. Started chopping to get the intercooler on! Test fit.... After much chopping...it went on!! Ive got to mesh the grilles and get a map flange and recirc take off welded to my piping then it'll be getting plumbed in before she's off the road for a while :(
  10. Couple more bits done to the Vrs just lately.... got to work early and she looked like this before I started lol Started measuring up and taping off And the result Tiger sealed the mesh in, what a PITA to keep it flush to the bumper!!!! Fitted onto the car then given a good scrub and polish - the mk1's should have come with widemouths from the factory!! And attracting attention as always....
  11. Its come a long way mate! So much competition with black magic's near us
  12. My mate's an autobrite dealer and gave me a load of samples to try out mate. It was a load of gear i tried! Think it was cherry glaze and project 32 it was finished with - I'll be ordering some soon as it's awesome stuff and not overly expensive too
  13. Couple of bits done today, took the headlights and indicators off to be fly-eye'd..... Also removed those gash drl's whilst the bumper was off, gave the lower grilles a quick coat of paint to spruce them up and repainted the top grille too. ( didnt mask the old badge as my new 1 should be here this week!)

  19. Cheers mate! The bodywork isn't fantastic but it's being resprayed later in the year I just took a grinder to the wheels mate until the bores of my spacers fit nice and snug Keep your eye on it later this month pal!!
  20. Guys, I've ordered some pipes for my wellycooler as per a guide on ASN, I've got it all infront of me and the hotside is causing some confusion. This is the guide and list I ordered from... I've ordered the 300mm straight alloy pipe as per the list but it is not mentioned in the guide... Could anyone point me in the right direction as to the right piping i need? Thanks
  21. You'll need 5x100 to 5x130 if i remember right mate. Not sure on thickness and offsets etc though!
