  1. Thanks for the answer. I read about your problems with the pano roof. I did not get if they managed to fix it or you still have leaks. I think I'll leave my order with the pano roof. The Kodiaq at the dealers had a sunroof and it looks stunning. I'll have 4 years of warranty if I'll get one leaky roof.
  2. Can I ask what are those reasons? I just ordered a Kodiaq with a pano roof and I can still cancel it. Plus I have some doubts about this choice.
  3. Octavia Elegance 1.2 77 kw, metallic color, adaptive xenons, kessy, park assistant, front assitant, hild hold control, cruise control, color maxidot, Bolero, rough road package, 230 V socket, front heated seats, sunset and other few minor ones - 15.650 euros ex VAT.
  4. @Chunkstar Ha! I have the same model in a different size DEZENT TD 6.00 x 15 ET 43 Goodyear ULTRA-GRIP-8 195/65 R15 91T
  5. I bought the 757 and used my old square bars from the Golf mk5, Thule 769. For Octavia Estate Thule recommends 761 wich are 7 cm shorter but I managed to use the old bars by extending the ditch in a middle in one bar.
  6. After a wash this weekend. I have the car since february. Sorry for the quality but I only had my phone with me.
  7. For me the start/stop works even with aircon on but the a/c stops functioning. The air that comes in is warmer and warmer. If I'm stopped for more than 20-30 seconds I feel there's no aircon. And also the fan is moved to the lower setting, one bar litten. After the engine is restarted the aircon come back on and the fan is set to the original power setting.
  8. I saw this happening on another forum. After he changed the xenon control unit the DRL errors started to appear. When he took the car back the dealer told him the control unit has to be changed again. What was the diagnostic on your car?
  9. I've contacted GLS through their local website. Probably that's why they don't have a phone number of their main site. Another problem with GLS is that it doesn't have a centralised database with their packages. I couldn't believe that. They're not like UPS or DHL. More like the postal office. To find out the address written on a package you have to talk to a guy that holds the package in front of him Meanwhile I opened a claim with paypal to get my money back from the hood dampers since superskoda doesn't answer.
  10. I'm highly sure of that, having owned a golf mk5. This is what happens and next time you see a golf 5, check out the front doors. And if you're still not sure just google "golf mk5 ice doors". There are many more pictures like these and posts on vw forums. golfmkv.com has plenty of them. VW even admitted to this problem and even issued a service bulletin on this. Whoever wanted and knew of this service info could take his golf, if it was still in warranty, and the service would mount some water stoppers in doors that would prevent water retention at the front of the door. But although they admitted this problem, they did not change the production line. Golf 5 were all produced without those additional water stoppers.
  11. Water retention in the door sills is not normal. Golf 5 had a similar problem. And in winter when that water froze, the door would bent when you tried to open it.
  12. Call to correct your address. Don't leave it like this for too long or they will send it back.
  13. They don't give you the tracking number by email. You have to go to your account -> your orders. You see a table with all your orders and on the end of each row you have the tracking number. It's the long one starting with 9.
  14. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/311228-superskoda-hood-power-damper/ I opened a new topic. Besides the bad screw, even the good ones are shorter then the original ones.
  15. I just received an order from superskoda with the hood power damper. Has anyone gotten these bad screws from them? I ordered 2 sets and both of them had a good screw and a bad one. The one with a thin rim cannot be tightened with a key like you see in their install video. Plus, another thing that seemed strange to me when I watched the install video, the original hood screw that they unscrew seems longer that the one they put back. And indeed, it is so. Add the washer that you need when you install their screw and you get a much shorter screw then the original. I wrote them 2 weeks before ordering this item to ask them if KI-R screw is shorter than the original one and they haven't replied to that email even to this day.
  16. This goes on to confirm that problems at superskoda are rules, not exceptions. I really don't understand how many people can post here that they are happy with them. I just received my second order. In the comments section of the order I asked them to make sure they don't get the wrong address this time. Which they did. But now I have another problem. I ordered 2 sets of power dampers for the hood. And one of the screws in each set is manufactured wrong. It can't be used. So one damper from each set cannot be installed therefore making the other useless since it's not powerful enough to hold the hood. So from 2 orders I placed, 2 orders had problems. A 100% percentage is something hard to achive. I won't be ordering from them anymore.
  17. Have you tested it? What does the one click function do? It changes the temperature thresholds or something else?
  18. When do you look at videos? They should only work when the car is stopped.
  19. It's the same size. M14x1.5 also fits Octavia 3. Thanks Kenny R!
  20. Putting the wheel back on is indeed a painstaking task. It has a very thin mounting support so you have to apply a lot of pressure from the front of the wheel, but also from under it. I've never had a car with such hard to mount wheels. A mounting stud would really help but it's not included. I never knew that thing existed but for cars like this it is surely needed. But a stud cap plier is included in the original toolkit and it works very well. If you don't have it you should talk to your dealers. I have it and the manual also shows it. 9. Extraction pliers for wheel bolt caps
  21. They already performed the update? Is this required for all models with the SS system?
  22. Yes, a problem with the payment gateway. Which doesn't interfere with the email system. So everything is good now with the payments. They can receive their money. But they still won;t reply to your emails.
