  1. Thanks, not quite as I remember it but looking at that pic I think I probably just need the "Protective Cap" 3T0825002A, I'll have to try and get it on a ramp again to confirm it, a very big help though especially for part numbers when I need them.
  2. LOL no that's what I was told to ask for, underneath the car is covered by 4 ABS Plastic covers, S H I T plates (that's the technical term a Mechanic gave me ), they basically protect the wiring, brake pipes and underside of the car and I suppose they also may have a certain amount of aero dynamic effect. Anyway one of mine was slightly ripped off\damaged on a paving slab that popped up as I was reversing.
  3. Hi, Anyone know the Part #'s for the left and right rear **** (sh_it) plates for a 63 plate Superb Estate? Cheers
  4. This http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/292864-the-superb-ii-fl-picture-thread/page-3#entry3736412 is mine done after market, the Dealer didn't add the Sunset Glass to the order so I got it done afterwards and prefer it because it's darker.
  5. Turns out my LG G3 is NOT compatible with the car after all. Since I took the Z2 back (because it didn't have rSAP) I have been having a problem with G3 in Premium Mode, it connects but every couple of minutes it would lose the connection and reconnect, sometimes it would remain connected for several minutes, other times no more than a few seconds, it seems to work better in HFP mode, I get an occasional glitch and now and then I have to connect manually when I first get in the car and obviously the SMS function is no longer available but I'll have to live it for now :( I have been on to Skoda again, she went away and checked with their Tech dept. came back and said it wasn't compatible. I'm hoping it will be with a future software update or is down to the BT Module? Does the Connection have any bearing on this, I know the car is only 2G, 3G capable, my phone is currently set to 4G, dropping the preferred Network mode down to 2G\3G won't have any bearing on the actual BT connection to the car will it? Regards Craig
  6. Really can't believe this is the first car he has experienced this on, the problem has increased alongside the increased use of wind tunnels in the design of the cars, you would have thought a Pilot would have understood that, although maybe he's only an X-Plane Pilot on his Mac
  7. That is one argument, cars are getting more and more linked with FB, SMS, Email etc, but it's a lot safer to read a text on the Maxidot\Columbus or having the message read out by the car than if you were tempted to pick up your phone and try and read it on there while driving. I do on the other hand think writing text should be disabled while the vehicle is in motion, but of course the system can't yet tell if it's the driver or passenger that is doing the typing.
  8. Once you have copied them from the car to the phone, go into Messages on the phone and then settings and look for Sim Messages, once there you should be able to copy them to the phone itself. I have found that it can take a couple of attempts to get them to copy from the car to the phone. Also found that saving them from the Columbus seems to be more reliable than doing it from the Maxidot, quite often I save via both methods to make sure.
  9. I tried the Trial version of that App but it appears it needs to be updated to make it compatible with the Z2, may be worth trying for people with slightly older phones though.
  10. Yeah rSAP isn't anything to do with your Network provider, it's part of the Phone OS\Software. Incidentally I've just noticed this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android_rsap.rsap&hl=en dunno if that would have allowed the Z2 to work, I still currently have the phone as I'm waiting for the envelope to return it but if I get chance I might give the trial version a go before I return the phone.
  11. Bought the G3 yesterday, connected it this morning and Text functionality is back, the Z2 will be on it's way back to Virgin on Monday.
  12. LOL I was thinking of doing the same but you've saved me the trouble :* All other have cars I've had have always been 2nd click to Deadlock, I thought that was a safety feature so that you didn't accidentally lock someone in the car, oh well better get in to the habit of Single clicking then, probably gonna be as hard as when I stopped smoking, wonder if Skoda do any patches
  13. Is that the right way round, I always double press and hold on the 2nd press to fold the mirrors?
  14. I was surprised when I upgraded my phone last weekend to the Sony Z2 and then discovered afterwards that it doesn't support rSAP, mental on a flag ship phone, anyway I've been having major problems with the phone on my Network since I upgraded it so I'm about to change it for a LG G3 which does have rSAP, so I should be back to full functionality again as I was with my Galaxy SII.
