  1. Thanks - so the roof opens underneath no problem ?
  2. Has anyone got a Kodiak with a panoramic sun roof and also fitted a roof rack ? Are you still able to open the sunroof - is there enough clearance between the roof and the roof rack bars - either Škoda bars or aftermarket Thule etc ? Skoda U.K. and a variety of dealers seem to be unable to conclusively answer this simple question that must have been asked many time before !
  3. Anyone had an approved Škoda towbar fitted by approved Škoda installers recently - what is the ball park cost ? I’m considering buying a new but already built 200hp Sportline - it dosent have a tow bar. I need one for bike rack and I can’t seem to get a conclusive answer if I can fit an aftermarket bar to a pcp car or does it need to be Škoda approved and if so how would you know it is Škoda approved and if either affect the warranty at all not being factory fitted + costs ?! I should add that the dealer have stated they don’t get involved in fitting tow bars.
  4. The vans usually have a decent engine though so they can actually move when loaded. I’ve managed to get to Glenshee for the past 20+ years in a variety of FWD cars.
  5. Correct - haven driven our Octavia vRS a couple of times down to the channel tunnel and through into the Netherlands and Belgium with boot fully loaded and four bikes on the roof I know that I wouldn’t want to dip below the Octys current 190bhp especially for a heavier Kodiak. I’m sure that a 150bhp would do the job but will it be pleasant thrashing the f””k out of it ?!
  6. We on the outskirts of Aberdeen so a mix of relatively free flowing town driving but on poor potholed roads during the week (we have a Octavia VRS on bone shaking 19” wheels at the moment) and then fairly good condition, wide and reasonably quiet county roads at the weekend. We need it to be decent BHP as it will often be fully loaded with tents, bikes and kids etc ! 150 bhp would be underpowered. with regard external looks I think it needs a Skoda fan to point out the difference between them - I don’t see them as being significantly better or worse than each other ?
  7. Is the ride quality of the standard Kodiak Sportline without Dynamic Chassis Control, any good or harsh ? Im coming from a 2015 Octavia VRS with the optional 19" Extreme alloys and it is a bit of a bone shaker to say the least. Cheers
  8. Looking at either a ex demo Kodiaq VRS or new or nearly new Kodiaq 190bhp Sportline - is there much difference in real world driving ? Is adjustable suspension an option / included with the Sportline ? Cheers
