Pretty self explanatory, when do you change the cambelt On one of these? I read different things all the time but is it 60,000 or 80,000 miles?

Fairly self explanatory, when's the cambelt due for a change in one of these. Is it 60,000 or 80,000 miles as everything I read gives a different answer

Hey guys, over the past week I've noticed that when sometimes when I Take a corner (mainly seems to happen pulling out of junctions) the battery warning light on the dash flickers on and off for a few seconds. Could it be A sign of something serious? Also today when I was going up a small Hill at about 50 mph in 4th gear the turbo just stopped working a few seconds after I floored it. There was no odd smoke or warning lights it just seemed to stop working and as I result I had practically no power. Just wondering could these 2 faults be related and (regardless if they're related or not) how big a bill I could be facing to have them rectified? Oh and its just hit 132,000 miles if that helps? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Many Thanks JH

Ok cheers man (y) how much do you reckon the door would be to fix as i'm no mechanic lol. Also, isn't the connecter under the boot carpeting?

Hey all, i'm new here. Ok so today I picked up a 2002 Octavia tdi 110 Elegance and there are a few small problems with it, the main one being the rear door lock on the passenger side rear door appears to be faulty. It doesn't respond to any inputs I make in the central locking (I.e. if I lock the car and this door will remain unlocked whereas all the others will lock). Anyone got any idea as to whats wrong with it and, more importantly, how much it will cost to fix? The other Fault is that the CD autochanger in the boot doesn't appear to be working, whenever I try to make it play the CD it just comes up on the radio with 'Chk Cassette' or something like that. Anyone got any idea how much this'll be to fix or how to do it? Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated Regards Joe
