I got mine in June 2012, 03 plate with 67,000 miles 2 owners from new and guy I bought it from had owned it from 2004, paid 2800 due to the fact it was pretty much mint and he had done a few mods to it and not long done the timing belt, the fact he was an MOT tester helped me make up my mind....... Never thought about getting rid of it as it been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned and it still a head turner and always makes me smile when the wee boy racers go past and give it a good look over lol

yea I had some teething problems after a couple of weeks camera freezing and rear camera not working all the time but I returned it and got a brand new one which I have had a good 6 months without any issues... expensive but worth it....

I have the 650 fitted and only problem I get is the wifi not connecting sometimes but I think this is more down to the app rather than the camera, have a look on here might help you find the answer.. http://blackvueshop.co.uk/forum/index.php

I just upgraded mine to android and must say really impressed with it, running 4.4.2 android it works really well, does take a while to start if it on the sd card but if its on the radio its as soon as you turn the key.. I bought this one, plus the elm obd2 adapter from here http://xtrons.co.uk/td730a-7-inch-android-4-4-2-motorized-screen-double-din-dvd-player.html I seen a lot of bad reviews for this make but my last unit was from them and I had it 3 years with no problems at all..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WziQA_VqrJE yea were simple enough to wire, plug on it fits to original on loom and the drl were wired into a switched live so they on all the time only advice I can give is take ur time when trying to open them, if you take them out oven and leave them for a minute or 2 to allow the heat to travel into the seal, I had to put one of them back in the oven to reheat it before it came off and I never removed the glass completely left the opposite side to the projector on and held the glass up to get in to the screws... and keep close eye on them when they in the oven, cause if u heat them too much they WILL start to melt plastics and wires.. I placed 2 bits of wood in oven and sat lights on top of them with the wires resting on the wood

lol well you take a set of £200 brand new headlights, then order 2 new universal rhd projector fittings off ebay.. that's the easy part then its a case of sticking the oven on at 200 and while it heating up remove any screws, clips, rubbers, bulbs ect and stick them in oven for about 10 mins until the seal round glass starts to melt ( I used a video from youtube for this) once they are open you can remove the lhd projectors and replace with the new rhd ones, I had to cut some of the surrounding plastic when fitting the new projectors so they sat correctly but this depends on the projectors you get. once the new ones fitted its a case of resealing them.. I waited to do this until I had them checked to make sure they passed an mot.. i must say this is not for the faint hearted :peek: ..... tactical 87 has these fitted too, and he just changes his back to the old ones for the mot..

yea I found another post saying the same and how to measure the plug to see if there a problem, so next stop will be a multi meter and some detective work to see what is causing the problem..

Wondering if any one can help out.. my mate has an Audi S3 and asked me to give it a quick scan so I plugged it in and tried to run a scan to find out that it wouldn't read anything. I went in and tested the cable to find that it said K1 Short to ground.. I looked this up and the only thing I could find is that it can be after market stereo causing a short through the diagnostic wire.. so advice was to either remove the wire or take out the stereo.. so I removed the stereo and tried again but still get the same error.. the car has had some problems with the stereo due to previous owner removing the original stereo and messing up the wires, but my mate got his hands on another original stereo and has since managed to get it working.. the car has a Bose amp and sub factory fitted so I was wondering if this can be the cause, as they both seem to power up without the stereo fitted. any help would be appreciated.

it will be the wire for the stereo diagnostic if I remember right.. cant remember the colour tho that would cause the central locking issue with the after market one
