Hey guys, I have a 2001 Skoda Fabia 1.4mpi, and recently I have notice that when the main fan comes it would make some noise. After a while this stopped and the fan no longer comes on to cool the engine, just the ac fan would come on. I was told that when the fan or connector for the fan get wet ( I had driven thru some water a few days before) it does this and the connector requires re-seating. I have done this and the fan still isn't switching on. What could be causing this?

Hey, im Andre, I love cars, and I recently bought a 2001 Skoda Fabia 1.4 Mpi. From day 1 I've been getting alot of bad vibes about Skoda but ive kept the faith. The car was parked for a While by previous owner, so I first had to change a few parts, ie fuel pump, fuel filter etc. Currently it's in the paint booth. I've a few plans for the car, but for now that where im at presently with the car.
