2024 facelift hopes and dreams
The facelift car look ok to me, nothing too offensive and overall it remains a good looking car. No mention of PHEV options in the press pack though?

Hopefully I can get to keep the Volvo until the end of its lease and the Octavia will be passed onto another colleague. The gearbox can be a bit slow to respond at times, especially when you are in hybrid mode. With a bit of forward planning by switching to performance mode it's not an issue.

In short, it's amazing. Best all-rounder that I have driven. It's well built, comfortable, practical and more than quick enough (340hp). Full charge gets around 50 miles worth of range on top of the 60ltr fuel tank. Only downside is that it's a pre-facelift so doesn't have the Google based operating system and charging is pretty slow at only 3.6kw per hour. Other than that, it's perfect!

An update on my original order. vRS iV estate (no options), ordered November '21 on a company lease. Still no confirmed build date, ETA early January '24. Thankfully a Volvo V60 Recharge became available in our 'fleet' a few months back which I took the option on. Our company has kept the Octavia on order.

Well I have given up and my company has offered an alternative solution. One of my colleague who is mainly office based has switched to all electric and their PHEV became available so today I collected a '22 plate Volvo V60 Re-Charge. Despite ordering the Skoda (vRS iV Estate (no options)) 20 months ago there is still no confirmed build date and only an ETA of January 2024. The order will be kept 'live' we have some people still to change into PHEV's, so it will be interesting to see how long it actually take. First impressions of the Volvo are very good. Solidly built, looks great both inside and out and the 340hp addictive. Good luck to everyone still 'patiently' waiting.

A further update from Skoda Head Office. Apparently all back orders from 2021 will not receive a build date until July at the earliest. After that they are unable to confirm how long the build process will take or when delivery will take place. The advice given going forward, speak to your dealer after July for an update. If this is the information coming from the executive team at Skoda we have no hope!

Not much activity on this thread, I suspect there has been no more information or everyone has given up and cancelled their orders! Following sending a letter for Skoda UK Head Office, I have received a follow-up from one of their Executive Customer Relations Managers. "To update you, I have spoken to our new vehicle department and they have advised that the supply team is still working to prioritize the outstanding orders from 2021, which will take several weeks, and until this process is done they will be unable to provide a build week." So basically they have no idea what is happening and can't provide an update for a car that was ordered in November 2021.

As a last ditch effort I have written to the head of Skoda UK, Matthew Bowden, and posted it off to their head office. I doubt it will make and difference, but hopefully it will highlight the reality of some customers 'experience' with the brand.

Not sure. Its a company car order so no idea what the costs are.

Another update from the leasing company dealing with my company car order. Octavia vRS iV Estate (no options). Ordered November 2021. ETA is now January 2024 with still no confirmed build date. Unbelievable.

Delivery times?
No further update from me, still not got a confirmed build date. (Octavia vRS iV Estate, no options, ordered in November 2021) As a guide though, I spoke with a dealer who had managed to 'secure stock' two vRS iV's. They are showing a build week of 'Week 45'. I would therefore confidently say that anyone without a build date for a vRS iV will not be seeing their car before December this year.

Who is your contact at Skoda UK? I have contacted them several time but have gotten nowhere. Drop me a PM if you don't want to post it on the forum.

Any Skoda UK Sales Staff?
Sorry should have been clearer. I have the order number from the leasing company. I have contacted Skoda UK ( Head Office) and they have advised me to contacted the dealer, but they will not advise what dealer the order is with and neither will the leasing company.

I have but they have been hopeless. All the say is speak to your leasing company for updates.

Any Skoda UK Sales Staff?
Hi there, I currently have a new car on order, an Octavia iV vRS Estate. It has been on order through a lease company since November 2021 and I am getting no where with getting updates from them. I have the Skoda order number, but the lease company will not tell me which dealer the order is with. Can any Skoda Sales Staff help out of I give them the order number and advise which dealer it is with? Thanks in advance.

More vRS tyre musings!
Some incorrect information in the replies. The Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is the replacement for the Pilot Sport 4, not the Pilot Sport 4S. Michelin have just launch the Pilot Super Sport 5, which is the replacement for the Pilot Sport 4S. So old Vs new PS4 > PS5 PS4S > PSS5 Anyway, the PS4S is a great tyre but performance orientated so may not be optimal in the wet, but excellent in the dry.

If I am assuming correctly, most of the iV (PHEV) orders are for company cars (as it is with mines). In my case the leasing company will not give out details as to which dealer the order is with. The leasing company requests updates from the dealers and feed it back to me. Direct contact with Skoda UK also seems useless as all they do is refer you back to the dealer / leasing company.

I get this, and it is just a car but my current car is costing me a fortune per month on company car tax as its an automatic diesel. I think the order will be cancelled as I / my company will be unwilling to wait any longer.

I have been emailing Skoda UK to try and get some more information but they seem to be as much in the dark as we do. An extract from their response. "The update I have received was that your order has been accepted by the factory however, no build week has been confirmed yet. I am really sorry about this delay, this is totally out of our control and there is actually a delay within the whole of the UK with the specific model you have ordered. Please bear with us as we are trying our best to get your vehicle out to you sooner than we expect."

100% agree with you, i think even December is looking optomistic. So much so that our company is now looking at cancelling the order and going with an alternative.

Another update from the leasing company this week, a further delay pushing it back to 'late July'. Still no confirmed build date and it has not changed from 'V-Status' at the dealers vRS Estate iV, no options, ordered November 2021.

Delivery times?
I have taken the delay on my order up with Skoda UK. Apparently my car is at 'Status-V' which mean allocated but not sent to the factory???

That is an absolute joke! I have no chance then as my car was ordered in Nov '21. Who is your lease company?
-

Just looking through the Google Docs Spreadsheet at users waiting on a similar car to the one I have on order. @Benjybobs @1HoV @Sparkystodd @Stuart_S @Novascape @Tbone @manor119 Have any of the above users, taken delivery, received a confirmed build date or any notable information on their cars?

Here is a quick question. When was the last time someone had an iV (PHEV) delivered? Not seen many posts confirming this
