  1. Similar position here, vRS iV Estate (company lease) ordered Nov '21 and still no confirmed build date. What have you ended up going for as an alternative?
  2. I have never understood the fascination with having to have the latest registration. When I am ever looking at used cars, it is always the 'date registered' I look at rather than the actual registration itself. Having waited so long, I would just want the car asap.
  3. I'm in the same position. Company car order with currently no production or delivery date. I have spoken to the lease company about alternatives but there is nothing out there. The only option given was a Corolla Estate which was showing April delivery. All other similar cars are experiencing the same production delays - BMW 330E, Seat/Cupra Leon, Superb iV.
  4. @toot I have spoke with both Arnold Clark and Henry's. As my car is coming through a fleet leasing company (company car), I have no idea who the supplying dealer is of my order.
  5. I have been speaking with the leasing company this week as well as a few local dealers to try and get some more information. The leasing company's update from the source dealer is ETA late May, build date yet to be confirmed. Octavia vRS iV ordered November 2021. Speaking with some of the sales people at the dealers. They have advised that retail orders are being prioritised over lease orders and the reality is 18 months from point of order for delivery on iV's.
  6. The situation doesn't seem to be getting better does it? New company car, Octavis vRS iV Estate (no options), order November '21. Now been informed by the lease company that the new ETA is late May. Still no confirmed build date.
  7. Update from the lease company today, now pushed back to ETA Early April. Octavia iV vRS Estate (no options) order November 2021.
  8. Still no news on my car. vRS iV estate ordered Nov '21. Leasing company are advising late January, but still no confirmed build date date so I very much doubt it.
  9. Still no further forward with my new company car order (Octavia vRS iV Estate ordered Nov '21). Leasing company is still saying January 2023. I am away with work this week and by chance my hire car is an Octavia Estate, 1.0 Se Technology, so its giving me a taste of what I have to look forward to. Overall it's a really nice car, but even the hire car has some 'bugs'. There has been multiple warnings that the front sensors are not working and something about manoeuvring breaking not available? There also also been a few 'pops' randomly happening. Lets hope my car has all these issues ironed out.
  10. Looks like Skoda UK have also removed the iV from their most recent price list. Given then current lead times I'm not surprised that they are trying to compress the range.
  11. No options added. Completely standard.
  12. Bit of an update on my company car (vRS iV Estate - Ordered Nov '21). Leasing company App now states that it is 'At Converters' but ETA is still early Jan. '23. Awaiting a call back to find out exactly what 'At Converters' means.
  13. All of the cars on the list were PHEV. A few other brands as an option such as BMW, Audi & Hyundai but always liked the vRS estate. Company car tax saving can't come soon enough, currently have a diesel Mondeo with an automatic gearbox 🤮 The leasing company we are using have an App, currently showing 'scheduled for build, ETA early Jan 2023'.
  14. Yes, they are sticking it out. One of my colleagues has an Audi A3 on order (ordered at the same time) and that's not expected until March 2023. Daily mileage is mixed, anything from 60 miles a day to 250+ depending on location. Work remotely and no word yet on their charging policy.
  15. Update from the Leasing Company via their App this week. Delivery pushed back to early January 2023. Ordered November 2021. (Octavia vRS iV Estate, no options)
  16. New company car, Octavia Estate Vrs iV (no options), order November 2021 through Ogilvie Leasing. Currently looking at an ETA of early October 2022 but still no build date as far as I can see. Fully expecting early 2023 for delivery.
  17. Our company had decided to go down the PHEV route for our new company cars so I have selected the vRS iV Estate in Moon White Metallic. Reading of all the delays, who knows when it will actually be available. Having read the reviews, I am aware that the vRS iV does not get the same 15mm drop in ride height as the standard vRS, but does the iV receive any other 'unique' chassis parts such as dampers or geometry settings? Or is the car just standard but with vRS bumpers?
