  1. Yes it is in the wrong place, sorry! I've taken delivery of a Skoda Oct MKIII today which is my excuse for posting in the wrong group. I'm sure someone will move it Can anyone confirm that the above suggestions will still work for the Mark II? Thanks
  2. Hi, Firstly I thought you may like to see our vehicle which was completed and went on the road recently. If you are local to Burntwood/Cannock Staffordshire you are more than welcome to come and have a look around the tech inside. Now onto my question .... We have some graphics we would like to put on the rear passenger windows, however when you push and hold down the button on the key fob this brings the windows down. This will obviously cause us an issue with the graphics. Is there an easy way to disable this? Thanks, Paul
  3. Ha agreed! I could only find Silver, White or Black in used scouts. I didn't want Silver as that's what the trust use and Black was too far in the wrong direction in terms of being conspicuous. We want to ensure it can be differentiated against the trust RRVs, so because the colour is so close we will have to look at appropriate signage for it.
  4. Looking at a few convertors at the moment. Including VCS and McNellie. SVO is quite far south for us. VCS do the WMAS vehicles at the moment.
  5. Our new vehicle, just finalising the conversion spec and should be on the road in approx one month.
  6. We won't be having a dash strobe and looking at data logging and video options at the moment. As only trained crew can use blues. Think this is through VUE. Thanks for the hints!
  7. Any help greatly appreciated. Is the steering wheel on the scout Multi Function? ie Do we get the buttons on the steering wheel? Also are there any differences between the 2011 and 2013 Scout?
  8. I've managed to secure a 2013 plate Scout with 11,500 miles on clock for a very good price. Now looking at conversion, so any hints/tips for staff would be great.
  9. Thanks I've actually seen a few Scouts that fit the bill so will have a look at them tomorrow.
  10. I spoke to Verity Hall approx two months ago she works in Emergency Fleet sales for SUK, no scouts were available to purchase. As I said before the WMAS specification 2013 - 2016 actually states "The Skoda Scout is currently unavailable, and therefore the trust will utilise the new generation Honda CRV (2013) as it's base RRV until the new Skoda becomes available for Assesment or alternative models present." So I have to query whether this Scout stock actually exists...
  11. Aware of this thanks. As the vehicle was coming in to us on a special deal it was cheaper through the dealer than through the emergency fleet scheme.
  12. We are not that keen on the Yeti. It was either going to be a Octavia Estate or a SUV, Kia Sportage or something similar.
  13. We were actually going to have a blue vehicle to differentiate us from the trust RRVs which are Silver.
  14. Was in a dealer today there isn't one 4x4 available anywhere in the country new as stock. I've been looking at some Scouts today on nearly new and may opt for one of these.
