Thanks for that the car is being collected for the recall on the 12th of september so i hope to get this nailed down by then other wise they can have it back, finance is payed up in january so its decision time , my wife loves the car and wants to ether keep it or trade up for another one , i personally want her to buy the new m235i or the golf R how ever i would be happy with a octavia vrs (wife only likes auto ) Thanks Mark

So even if i take it apart its not going to be an easy fix ? i spoke to the clowns at rayleigh skoda and the service woman said that they will fix it but i have to pay then claim the money back afterwards ! i kindly told here to jog on , I'm starting to think skoda have the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with , I'm glad I've stuck with bmw, I've never had such poor service.

As of last week my wife's speedo needle has stopped illuminating ?? it still functions but is very hard to see at night , has anyone got any advise on how to access this? my wife had the car booked in to Rayleigh Skoda today for the dsg oil recall, she waited for two hours just to be told that Skoda's computer has crashed and to come back another day !! and for them to investigate the speedo needle would be £98 !! even tho the car is still under warranty , so a complete waste of our time i feel like sending them an invoice for my wifes time and petrol 50 mile round trip ! Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Mark

Same here clutch pack made ours judder from 1st to 2nd the guy at skoda dartford didn't even need to test drive it ! he took one look outside and said clutch packs lol

Im not willy waving buddy , he was comparing an m3 to skoda not a m3 to a ferrari! and i would love to see the footage of the yeti overtaking some M cars ether your lewis hamilton or they were broken down or on a cool down lap ! a yeti is hardly a pedigree track car ! Ok i will rephrase! The m3 will monster any standard rd legal skoda (not some modded things that you posted up ! ) please post me up a standard skoda with 414bhp thats rwd , I'm not knocking skoda's but the bmw is in a different league

M3 will monster any skoda in any situation (excluding mpg) I'm a x m3 owner trust me !

I didn't know these were torsion beam at the rear, learn a new thing every day !

Whats the thickness of the standard bar compared to the H+R has anyone worked out the percentage difference or have they just bolted it on because its thicker ??

Get a grip !! weight saving is the cheapest mod you can do to a car lose 25kg/50kg and your gaining something like 10/15bhp in power to weight terms , I've been doing it for years and I've not had any adverse effects only positive gains , its added weight the car doesn't need and all this crap about telling your insurance company is tosh utter tosh !

Im still alive !! i can only think this is a improvement even the wife said the car feels quicker (she didn't even know i had removed them) and balance of the car is just the same ! its easy as pie to do and it a must imo. If your in the essex area and want this done i would be glad to help. Mark
