my exhaust back box is rotten through don't know if anyone else has had this problem cars not even 2 years old yet

yes and you take off the plastic panel below the wipers and run it through another grommet

there is a gromet where the bonnet release cable comes through run it through there and directly behind it there is another grommet run it through that one and it will drop down in the passengers foot well or drivers footwell if its a lhd
