  1. RabMurray, for some reason can't open a pm. Diagram is v simple - disconnect yellow wire from RHS and feed around to yellow wire on back of LHS cluster (disconnecting that one from the wire that comes out of the loom on LHS). Lights test passed, no problems with bi-xenons on travel mode. Good luck!
  2. Just had mine done for BFG after much pain. Essentially: - I tried four dealers in Germany who said they did not have codes to switch the fog light from R to L. The last one offered to make me a cable. I had a quick look inside the light fitting to see if I could do it myself but it's not easy - the rear LED light clusters are sealed units and it is not obvious which wire is which. - I took it back to the garage to do so as not to tamper with the electrics. After two hours they said they had failed to make it work as the Uk model does not actually have the LEDs or the control unit for the rear fog built into the right hand cluster. I had to buy a continental cluster, which at total cost with labour was €270. The garage have been really good and given me a diagram showing what they have done and how to reconnect for RHS rear fog, to save me taking it back in when I return to uk. They also only charged me for one hour's labour even though the car has been in for a total of four hours whilst they work out how to do it. - Light test next Tue. Once I know the bixenons are ok I'll be sending a letter back to the dealer for selling me a car that was not ready to go for BFG as they said. But more importantly it might help them warn off future customers. The money involved is not huge but the faff was a real in the backside; let me know if you want me to scan the diagram of what the dealer did and send to you (v simple - turns out the yellow wire is the rear fog feed). Now to get a uk LHS rear light cluster on e-bay.....
  3. Following this post with interest as I can't swap the LED fog light on my new Superb. Five garages in three days and all say they don't have the ability yet to change this with the computer. I tried the recommended one in Issenhorst and no joy - though the main technician wasn't there - and even took the post here from AndyVee down to the main dealer but they couldn't do it. So I'm resorted to being booked in for a cable alteration Monday week at 100 euros. Am furious at having to do this and that Griffin sold me the car for export without knowing a fix. Fingers crossed the cable alteration works.... Thanks for all previous posts though.
