  1. Trying to track this item down is proving difficult. I might have to go with plan b and have a downpipe made at a custom exhaust place
  2. no joy from frankenturbo they won't sell just the adaptor downpipe on it's own.only with their f23 turbo ! :(

  5. Yes the oil and coolant lines are different on the ko4 023. Ko3s ones cannot be used. yeah I have full 3 inch system from the turbo so I will have the downpipe modified to suit in local custom place. I have already got sytec 5 bar fuel pump and 4 bar reg so that's done.
  6. Little questions regarding ko4 swap. I have a genuine ko4 023 turbo, Maf housing and injectors on their way.. The car already has many mods including welly cooler 2.5 inch pipework ect ect.. It's ready to go. Basically all I need is to fit the ko4, Maf and injectors then have my down pipe modified and mapping.. just to clarify now.. when i come to swap the turbos over, the matrix pipes don't need to be modified on the octavia? No stranger to spanner work so I'm confident in the swap no problem. But if anyone has done this who has any useful info into possible snag areas so I can prepare I would appreciate it thanks

  11. Well possibly not mate. And I don't like to point a finger but it's a bit sad the approach that's been taken. If somebody doesn't like what another person says just ignore them. It's not as if this person has even done anything to warrant being kicked totally anyway no threats no personal insults just a straight talker no beating round the bush tells things as they are. But people are to sense give these days easy to block people from groups and petty things alike instead of simply ignoring. at the end of the day we are all enthusiasts and share a passion so personal issues shouldn't even come into it esp petty vendettas

This one is for the admin members on this website for "owners and fellow enthusiasts" can you give me a good enough reason for removing a member and blocking them from even seeing the briskoda facebook page after he had sent a new request? Which in itself is petty and childish!! it seems you have a personal thing going on with said member which is quite sad as he owns a skoda and maintains it to the highest of standard. All the work carried out himself. This said an asset to any owners club so no matter what admin member has what problem with said person. You really show how pathetic you are when you do wimpish things like removing and even block then from seeing the page sort it out guys it can't be that bad surely admin feel free to explain

Peaks 22, drops to around 14 back up back down, hits 5000rpm and plummets to 7-9psi.. You can noticeably feel the difference aswel, esp at 5000rpm where it just hits a brick wall and runs out of puff
  18. I suppose you have driven round all your life at the speed limit and never had a little blast yeah?? Do us a favour My Mrs gramp has an Audi tt 225 which most of the time he drives round quite sedate.. yet if he was on a dual carriage way and the conditions were the same or similar to the op.. And a boy racer tried to have a punt, he would we see them off. And he has years of experience behind the wheel.!! I'm gunna admit as David88 will testify. I have a blast whenever the mood takes me, but if I wanted to go slow I'd buy a 1.6!! The wrap round the tree and gene pool comment was way over the line.

  20. I would be happy with 260-270.. 280 would be nice! I'm having my intercooler pipes made up custom by my mate in stainless (he works for custom exhaust place).. Any modifications needed to bolt it up? Anything in the way I would need to move or bend ect?
  21. Yeah they are 775 quid.! That's what I mean lol. I've looked at them. Ko4 can be done including mapping for the price of a hybrid unit alone lol

  23. Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading to ko4 turbo and need to know 2 things.. 1 - what parts do I need? From what I can make out so far I need ko4 turbo, manifold, downpipe, 3' maf (is this cupra r, s3, tt mad??), And then the obvious mapping at the end. And secondly - what modifications if any are needed to make this happen? Thanks in advance Ant
