Surely if i added the hubs and made the cast arms sit virtualy horizontal it would prolong the life of the bushes? cheers for the help guys..

Im up for the TT wishbones but would it be worth changing the hubs to TT ones at the same time to make them last a bit longer ????

Hi all Recently went for the dreaded MOT and flew through apart from the wishbone bushes are just about dead... I would like to upgrade these is it is possible i have seen some mk4 golf 2WD wishbones that someone has put the R32 bushes in which are an upgrade but would they fit and does anyone know of a better set.! I dont want to changing them every year but i spose thats the joys of lowering your car. many thanks Kieran

Car does give out a bit of white smoke at max rpm :/ what do it mean then ??

Car is showing no fault codes at all, changed the MAF last night and no difference, getting the same CFM and certain load points. I know it sounds stupid but could it be a stage 1 map????? Is that the figures you could expect? How would i go about logging the data? Is it just best taking a trip to R-Tech and letting him work his magic.?

Being a copy paste map from revo it did have the mods done before the map and no the battery hasn't been off at any point.. Would a boost leak cause this big loss ???? I haven't checked that yet ??

Hi all, had my car dyno'd last night at Dynodaze nr Leicester pulled 197bhp at 5200rpm and 235 ft/lb at 3900rpm... Graph shows quite alot of instability after 3200rpm Is this an issue with the cars hardware or the map being unsuitable?? Mods: neuspeed induction kit DV relocation + 007 recirc Forge FMIC Miltech decat downpipe and piper decat back revo stage 2 map I was thinking maybe the MAF has started to deteriorate but the car has only cover 83k... Any help is welcomed..

Are the neuspeed induction kits no good ? Even with the heat shield ? Yeah revo stage 2 and standard tip but that will be changed.

What turbo you running for that kind if hp? Can you point me towards a welt cooler ?

well i plan on running a TD04 for while untill i get my project car done then swap them in the garage and work on the bottom end of the octy... and run around 300horse so the forge will do me untill i end up rebuilding the engine... but then again i want to run the BAM manifold and the nice boost pipe..... ive heard the 'welly cooler' banded around but i dont actually know what it is ... can any one point me in the right direction of one or what it is? P.S Lloyd55vrs, you do realise this is your cousins old car

After a bit of advice really i brought a car with a forge FMIC and i thought they were the muts nuts but ive been reading that people struggle getting power + high EGT should i ditch the forge and get a welly cooler.? also id like to get rid of the pancake pipe as it will only cause turbulance and disrupt the flow in my opinion. have many people used a K04 boost pipe and put a BAM or passenger side intake manifold on ?? Cheers
