stuart_hatch replied to mk1tony's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
No point taking the wipers problem to a dealer, i took it to 3 seperate dealers and they were stumped The heating problem is the recirc flaps The switch is in the lock, req a new lock mech Temp sensor is busted, it dragged along the ground a few times -
That problem turned out to be a dodgy alternator wire

Ok my wipers work for the first 10 mins or so of the journey, then dont after that, occasionally they start working again. Or if they are on the Constant setting they will stay on, but if i then turn them off they wont go back on. So far i have replaced the Wiper Motor, the wiper stalk and the Convience Control Unit and it hasn't made a difference. Its not a VRS so dosn't have a alarm so dosn't have the bonnet pin sensor. Any ideas? Cheers
