  1. So, all that because an USB port problem?
  2. My oil temperature is as you all have said - depending on the revs and distance, and weather...but usualy 92-95 and maximum 110. I am always supervising it. When I'm forcing the engine I do not take into account the coolant temperature, but the oil. And the same before stopping the engine.
  3. Ok...Thanks. I have it too. This sort of pipe it is really the type that whistle when you blow in it. This xplains the sound. But at the end of it, on the engine side, it looks like it ends with a sensor... What should be on it, fuel or air?
  4. A picture of this canister hose will be very useful, cause is hard to convince the dealers about a thing that can passe unobserved. Thnaks.
  5. I've understood what's the idea with this cable/sw and geting help on them and I asked nothing since then. Sadly I've already buy it... Maybe my O3 is pirated too if he shows nothing under SOC.
  6. I am afraid to try. This is why I ask how can I know what belongs to MIB2 or 5F specifically ...
  7. Or, maybe their interface don't have this bug Anyway, strange thing.
  8. Reading the posts from here, I think you're right with this. And I think it will be nice to have one that works with 15.7.3. This puts me on hold with using it on my car and if it worth to buy another one. Thanks! LE: if it was inappropriate, my posts can be deleted (I agree).
  9. I know what is MIB2. But how it si refered in VCDS and what belongs to it in VCDS? I did not know I should do this soft-reset. Thanks. The cable is not new. It just have this label on it Dual-K & CAN <-> USB. 15.7.0 is the version. Were can I read more about how to use it correctly? (do you have a link - I am new in this field of car software)
  10. Well on my cable it's writen VAG157 Dual-K & CAN <-> USB. How do I know what belongs to MIB2? What is the purpose of the Soft Reset function in the VCDS? I did not use it for my codings here up.
  11. I do not know exactly, but I think it is HEX-CAN USB. No problem until now, but I just tried the following adaptions: Lap Timer - not worked Tear Drop wipe front windscreen - not worked DRL off when Handbrake is engaged - Ok Delay for trunk lock when unlocked from hey - Ok SOC in dashboard showing ---% - tried to make it show a value by introducing battery type, manufacturer, serial no... - but still not showing a percentage value Needles staging - Ok Is it possible that anything else can be affected, like ECU, or other modules? PS: never try soft-reset from VCDS, and even I did not reset nothing from Bolero MIB2.
  12. With 17.5.0 I've got not problems. i have made adaptation by adaptation, note many at once. Always checked few times my choice and keep attention at the confirmations. I can't understand how VCDS can change something by his own wish... If so, maybe it changed something in ECU too... Ross Tech can't reproduce? Maybe there were some operation errors, done by users?! I am afraid not to have any surprise so after reading those experiences. And now, I am in stand-by...
  13. What version of VCDS is causing this problems? I have 15.7.0 and I hope not to have problems of missing menus or other things less visible... Do you know what versions are concerned or is something strange between all the VCDS and the new MIB2 ? Thanks and hope for the best!
  14. I have found some wrong coding of my battery. I have corrected it but still do not display the SOC value. Is still SOC ---%. Any other suggestions?
