Fabia III. Is there an ideal, or preferred, position for the ‘join’ in a new door seal to be located?

Now that the 'code' sticker is not put in new Fabias from late 2017 Where can I find out the information that was on this sticker? Peter

Can anybody tell me anything about the DSG 7 Speed gearbox fitted in the Fabia 3 as I can't find anything about it at all. Peter

MY old Fabia II vRS had audible 'Beep' on locking the car. I am told by the garage that I can't have it on my new Fabia III. I have access to a VCDS but firstly I don't know if what the garage sales person is saying is correct nor do I know which 'bit' I would need to change in the VCDS setup if it is possible. Anybody able to help please?

HI Does anyone know the nearest available colour match for the silver Elba Wheels I have on my Fabia.

The label giving Engine and detail type says I have a 'CTHE' engine with a 'PWA' Gearbox. I can find no reference to a 'PWA' Gearbox so has anyone any knowledge as to what the difference is between this and those previously listed as being paired with the CTHE engine? P

I might be asking an obvious question but can someone tell me what purpose of the 'Blue' bulb is in the headlight unit of a 2013 vRS Fabia. I have tried to get it too light but nothing I seem to switch on makes it work. Its not parking lights as they are in the LED units in the bumper and it isn't the indicators or anything else I can think of. P.

HiZouche Did you have any trouble fitting the bulbs as space seems to be a bit tight on the Battery side?

Can someone explain to me how you can get DIPPED beam and a MAIN Beam out of one H7 bulb which is all that seems to be in my vRS headlights. I was expecting a double filament bulb but it only has a single filament. I really want to improve the brightness so am looking at the Osram Night Breaker lamps Peter

Hi Phil I have that piece of software but I haven't found many circuits in it and those that I have don't seem to relate to my car. I must be picking the wrong details within the first page of the Workshop manual section defining the vRS car. Can you tell me the model details of the vRS you select. The one I had decided was the one was a Model 5425MD with a CTHE engine and an NQH Gearbox. If they are the same as your selection then I must have the information but just haven't found it yet.

Hi PhilTheGeek Thanks for that.. Can I ask where you found the circuit diagrams for the 2013 Fabia vRS as I have searched everywhere for a recent set? P

I thought I was removing fuse 29 but then realised it could have been 27 (which is Telephone and is not on my car). But it didn't seem to make any difference if it was in or out of position 29 (which is an injector, cooling pump which I thought would be an important one).

Can someone send me a picture of their fuse layout on their Fabia 2013 (preferably a vRS). I removed one fuse and then forgot where I took it from. Looking at the owners manual I replaced it in one of two possible places and it didn't do anything so I put it in the other slot and again it didn't do anything!
