  1. Thanks for the quick reply, I will have a look tonight mine is 2012 Pre Facelift so should be exactly the same. Can seem to find a Skoda Superb MK2 workshop PDF anywhere online, would be handy. Followed a guide on here the other day to hardware a dashcam, went smoothly with no fires or broken clips! I will post when I have had a look. Cheers Rick
  2. Morning all, wondering if anyone can assist please. I have just sold my Skoda Octavia MK2 L&K and purchased a Skoda Superb Mk2 Elegance with L&K pack. Lovely car with really low milage, but just needs a few things tidying up. I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the chrome grill (with the badge) before I start pulling in the wrong place and then realising there was a torx screw under the bit I've snapped off Many thanks in advance Rick
  3. Nice.............. wish I had a local dealer like yours. I think they would charge to use their toilet if they could.

  5. Thanks for the quick replies everyone..... The wheels badges are the same as my Octavia ones I fitted 4 years back. I think I had to go for a 'Front Yeti/Rapid badge' for the rear and a 'Citigo front' with a slight curve for the front. I had to drill/cut the front one out from behind removing the locating pins, the rear I removed using dental floss to cut the glue away. The had to snap the pins off the 2 new badges to fit the front and rear as mentioned by 'VWGDT'. They have been fitted for 4 + years as the adhesive backing is amazing stuff. The wheel badges do have some 'worming' as 'Danny 57' mentions. 4+ years though and they are not too expensive to replace. Surprised they are both flat badges, but as mentioned I'm buying my neighbours car so just lining up to do some minor upgrades as soon as I get it. Plus the old style green badges have seen better days! Thanks for you advice. I will get them priced up with http://skodateile.cz and post it. Rick
  6. Hi everyone, Wondering if some kind soul could supply me with the part numbers for the Black Badges that fit the Skoda Superb MkII. I currently own an Octavia Mk II FaceLift 2010 L&K, which I fitted the black wheel badges, bonnet badge and tailgate badge to and posted on the Octavia Mk II part of the forum all the part numbers. I am looking at buying a Mk II pre facelift from a neighbour of mine, and would once again love to give it the black 'new style' badge treatment. I have search but cannot find a post, although I'm sure I'm not the first person to have done this I was going to contact these guys again as I think I got a full set for about £40 previously http://skodateile.cz Many thanks in advance for your help Rick
  7. Ended up with blinds.................. OEM ones from Skoda. Thought was, if I don't like them and want to go tints...............I can just remove and sell. Bit harder the other way round don't think I could sell some used black window tints  Loving the blinds though as we can have the back windows open a bit and little un doesn't get blinded, so gotta agree with you on that one 'VrsStebuzz' From a distance, they also do look like tinted windows, plus with the rear roller we can remove them in minutes. Cheers everyone for all your comments, much appreciated.
  8. Did all mine last night after buying from www.skodateile.cz really good service and cheaper than UK. I paid just under £40 delivered for front, rear and 4 x wheel badges....... Hopefully this link to my One Drive will work, as I can't find how to add photos. https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=67E825EEF815886!1273&authkey=!ACrWL57pTXlA7oc&ithint=folder%2c.jpg
  9. Ahhh ok Nick..... I was after the blinds............as think this would suit better for my needs. Think I will buy these, as already have the roller blind. Octavia Sunblind Rear Door 2004 onwards - KCD609004 http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-sunblind-rear-door-2004--22356
  10. Hi there rear one is OEM in my car (factory fitted on the L&K, but available to buy) and fits to the middle of the parcel shelf and pulls up and hooks on using 2 hooks. I want to get the side panel blinds, or tints as I like the fact I can just roll this back down and tuck it away when not required. I think this is it................. http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-rear-window-sun-roller-blind-2004--21330 Looks the same, but picture a bit rubbish for it on this site.

  13. I feel like I have been all over this site and cannot for the life of me find ANY Black, Front or Rear badges...............I found the wheel badges and at 3.50Euro each what a bargain!! Its a very very basic site and can't see a search facility either, I did email them in English and then using Google Translate but no reply........ Probably cos I said his 'mum sleeps with goats' or his 'sister likes stamp collecting' Could you give us a hand please Daz
  14. Hi all, I'm weighing up the options for tints or blinds.......... I have an L&K which comes with a rear blind fitted to the parcel shelf on the hatchback, so I was thinking side blinds.....but can't seem to find a Skoda OEM version? Or are there any good non-OEM ones that people can recommend? Or do I just not bother with the blinds and go tints all round at the back? I have also been looking into this and people are recommending 20% tints, but again this is all new to me but have been told its dark enough for if you have kids in the back. My worry there though is what if I find it too dark through the rear window..... what are peoples experiences of tint levels and if I went this way what would be recommended. I live in the Newark Notts area and am open to Company recommendations. Not sure if a black car, with black/silver badges all round (when I order them) and black tints will look too pimp ganster for my family ride Cheers Rick
  15. Agreed they do look trick....... If they do fit the 'MK2 FL Hatch' I'll order a set tomorrow and get mine changed over too
  16. So........ The badges you purchased for your Combi will these fit the Mk2 Octavia FL 2010? If so I will buy the same part numbers........... can you confirm please. Cheers Rick
  17. 1 month in.....ish............... God I love this car!!!
  18. Hia all, I have read this entire thread and as Yoda would say.................. 'Confused am I' I have a Black Octavia so though the badge change would look good seeing the examples on here..... However what set would I need for Front, Back and wheels for an 'Octavia Mk2 FL 2010 Hatch' as my back badge is also de-laminating. Plus where is the best place in the UK to by a set? Maybe from the Bay of E or local dealer? Many thanks in advance for your help, Cheers Rick
  19. Thanks Chris I have some more reading to do obviously thanks for the links......... Really looking forward to collecting the car now and playing with all the toys it has to offer Cheers Rick
  20. Hi all, just joined the forum and have been reading various posts and just confusing myself even more............ I will be picking up a 2010 Octavia Laurin and Klement on Friday this week and would like to know how complex it is to change the headunit. I don't know what model the current unit is but I have been told its the model 'below' the sat nav version. It has blue-tooth with a colour screen, the car has a MFSW so I assume I can fit the 'Columbus' nav unit and all will work? If I can fit a nav unit, I'm confused by versions as I see the RNS510 comes in H, K, L on ebay............... whats what? Is this the Hardware version? If I buy an older version can the software/firmware be flashed easily and also the maps be upgraded easily? Plus I am assuming I will need a facia plate and also a GPS connection kit? Appologies if I am asking for answers already answered as I couldnt find the answer......... Many thanks in advance Rick
  21. Hi all, Just joined the forum. collect my Octavia 2.0 L&K on Friday.................... my first Skoda, quite looking forward to it! Rick
