My best guess ---large bushings on front wishbones. I have these squeks on cold and dry weather some dude in rusia replaced those bushings with the audi's s3 Which are more solid

What was the fault? What problem does the turbo have? What milage do u have?

29500 km with this noise....the same intensity and duration since day one ( bought it at 8000 km and 9 months old)

Some say that is the gearbox chatter....i have a 1.4 tsi o3 manual gearbox

1.4 tsi manual gearbox, at first startup after more than 6 hours there is a noise coming from the gearbox area, it is audible when the clutch pedal is free and the idle is normal , under 800. If i rev a little the noise is gone, if i press the clutch the noise is gone. After a few meters in any gear , then left on neutral the noise is gone. My opinion is that the gearbox oil is at minimum. These gearboxes are filled by the rear light sensor because of the angle they are installed. Anyone went to the dealer for warranty?
