  1. Even the top spec cars don't have great adjustment. but as mentioned skoda is a budget brand. Also comes with budget showrooms and staff in my experience. Skoda U.K. Are terrible quite liked the car but after 100k in 4 and bit years interior was looking decidedly tired compared to my previous golf. Had enough bull from VAG and gone back to Lexus. Might cost more but damn do they look after you and make a genuinely quality product. Not nice looking soft touch plastics that end up a rattling mess.
  2. Hmmmm id not want to claim on my insurance for that. Think of the increased premiums for years to come. Then god forbid you have an at fault claim within couple years and bye bye no claims discount.
  3. I had (until yesterday) a 2014 octavia with xenons. My wife has a brand new 1 series with the latest LED lights. Other than the bright white colour the xenons are so much better. Illuminate further down the road and also the sides of the roads. I'd get a drive in one with both to be honest. Don't personally rate the LED lighting tech. I think they have only come about due to stupid EU regs on maximum bulb wattage. Gotta save the planet you know Edit to add. Going from xenons to LED is not the jump going from halogens to xenons was.
  4. Sadly this is why having home delivery or a shed full of dings already is very liberating.
  5. My experience of variable servicing from the Skoda dealers is er, variable. None of them have a clue what needs doing when or importantly at what price. They just pull figures out their ass. My car won't see a Skoda dealer for a service again.
  6. Using a pair from a Vauxhall Astra van on mine. No problems
  7. Mines done 53k now and think they could do with a change. It's a 2014 elegance. Thinking of going for some brembos at £43.
  8. Mine came with mich primacy from the factory. 42k and still going strong with 3+Mm tread left. Will certainly replace with Mich again.
  9. Yes I have one under passenger and high viz under drivers. First car with under seat storage. What can you actually fit in them? Not found a use for them yet.
  10. WBAC £10600 for my 2014 Elegance 150 TDI with 42k on it. Paid £21000 with a few options and extended warranty Plan at purchase was to run into the ground so was not considering the risduals. I always thought if losing less money on VAG goods was a concern you needed the prettier Frocked models with vastly more upfront cost. Certainly was the case when I pcp a Golf in 2011
  11. Nothing major but check the b pillar seatbelt adjusters are not showing wear. If so get sorted before taking it away.
  12. Good news for me. My supplying dealer have agreed to replace under warranty. It's a shame they are a 40 mile round trip. But at least I know not yo waste my time with the local idiots again now .
  13. I paid cash and achieved an 18% discount. Plan is to keep 5 years and evaluate from there. In reality I might end up in the new superb if they can tempt me before then.
  14. Honestly that would be great. I'm not very busy with work so have plenty of time to pester Skoda.
  15. Sorry didn't mean to single you out like that was more a general comment on reversing cameras.
