Anyone else had this problem? My 2.5k mile diesel VRS has let me down already. Driving down the M1 the glowplug light came on so I pulled off and stopped and restarted the car next time it came up with engine man light and went into limp home home , gutless and juddering like it was misfiring. got to in laws just up the road and called skoda assist, AA man came and his laptop said turbo airleak he crawled around the car but couldn't find a problem. car in Vindis now who cant find a problem and say that fault wont occur for them.

Had my VRS estate for a couple of weeks now. It is fantastic, just been over to Shelsley Walsh for the hillclimb last weekend Loved the efforts of Aaron Perrot in his fairly boggo Fabia.. our vrs averaged just under 50mpg over 278 miles despite my right foot Its very comfortable but as quick as I need , when we left Shelsley ended up in convoy along B4203, in front was Skyline R34, 911 GT3rs, exige, Aston V8 Vantage and a couple of M3 beemers. Kept up with them all along winding b roads and on main road until passenger seat speed limiter cut in at ****** (70 mph officer)

I thought that I had the longest wait, order 28th Dec pick up tomorrow 4th Sep you can make babies quicker!

Vindis in Cambridge, going in tomorrow to sort out paperwork. Seems like an age ago when I ordered my car on Dec 28th 13

Latest update, my VRS is ready to collect, getting it on Sept 1st on a 64 plate. Happy bunny now!

Good point, meant 64 plate!

I may be old, learnt to drive in an old Austin mini, handbrake was a gesture not a fact so have always left any vehicle since in gear

By the way meat to say the Elegance 1.6pd was surprisingly good to drive, was suspecting it would be gutless but actually very nice, mind you rental cars are always quicker

Just been informed that my VRs is now in the UK, have done nearly 4k on loan car. Thanks to Skoda uk for this amazing service Hoping I can let it run to get a 65 plate

Update, have a shiny new Elegance estate from SUK on my drive to use until my car is built its even the same colour as my VRS will be :)

Hi Steveyb79, I ordered on Dec 28th, got told by the dealer that I would have the car between wk 18 and 20, (this was done in good faith by the dealer have to say they have been good at letting me know that they know nothing!) Got told BW35 a couple of weeks ago! after reading a comment by someone on here I emailed the dealer saying that I wasn't particularly happy with this as I had driving holidays booked and I had heard SUK were lending cars out to people with long waiting times. He chased it up for me as it said 18 to 20wks on the paperwork I signed and yesterday a shiny new Elegance estate rocked up for us to use until I get my VRS! Try asking your dealer if he can chase this for you too.

I ordered my Vrs diesel estate on 28th Decemeber, two weeks ago got told build week 35, end of August. The dealer quoted an 18 week wait so I emailed dealer threatening to cancel and guess what? I have a loan car from Skoda UK turning up tomorrow to use until mine is built! (At least I really hope so as I have sold my present car!) Shows its worth a try, you don't get if you don't ask
