A broker is fine too.

Guys, does any of you have a dealer that can deliver in April? I have a reasonable quote from Simpsons but they say delivery currently only May. Thanks.

Have I gone back to the 70's?

I could swear my 136 had brown interior 10 years ago. I don't have an inside pic but the black mirrors definitely make it look "rad" lol -
Just what I wanted to know. Awesome!

I can second what the others said. I was planning on buying a 2.0 TDi but visiting my mate in Switzerland he took me for a ride in his 1.6 and I found there's more than enough power for driving around town. It's not a racehorse, although it has less than 500 miles on the clock.

Hello everyone, My name is Peter and I just took delivery of my brand new Octavia III Elegance Estate with the 1.6 CR engine (and a few other extras). The car was coming off stock at Marlborough West London so I didn't have to wait for it. I have recently moved to the UK after 5 years around the world in expat positions. Literally around the world; have lived for two years in Switzerland, moved to Ghana and the last 2.5 years I spent in Papua New Guinea. In "the bush" I was driving company cars ranging from a Lancer to a Toyota Land Cruiser 70-series, to a 3.0 D-4D Hilux pick-up (or as they call these over there: ute). While planning moving to the UK my target car was a Superb but shortly after arriving in the UK I figured it might just be too large a car for living in London. Originally coming from Eastern Europe the price/value ratio of the brand is just unrivalled. And of course, I have an emotional link to Skodas as my very first car was a... 1990 Skoda Favorit 136. I have some pictures, I may dig them out some time haha. I am not new to internet forums, I'm quite active on travel forums. I am looking forward to learning about Skodas and meeting people in the community.
