  3. Hi there, a job I've been meaning to do all year but never got around to it, sticking my forge back to original is this the right part I need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/231661398928?adgroupid=13585920426&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=aud-133395220866%3Apla-131843265186&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=207297426&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80 Thanks in advance.
  4. Thought with today's supermarket petrol cuts that would include the momentum as well, nope price stayed the same £1.20 a ltr, is this the norm is it, how to they justify the hefty price tag for this stuff anyway.
  5. Hi sorry to hijack your thread but I have a forge dumpvalve on mine which the previous owner installed, would like to put it back to standard as it sounds a bit to boy racer for my liking, what's involved in this process and cost of the original part if you don't mind me asking.
  6. Thanks for that mate will sort that
  7. Thanks for that link williburp, is this an easy thing to fit myself or would I need a garage to do it..
  8. Makes it worse as I live in a kind of culdesac, so it like echoes around the place. Had the same problem with a motorbike I had a few years ago, but that was simple id just put the baffle back in.
  9. So my Octy VRS when I bought it came with a cat back piper exhaust, now I quite like the sound it makes, nice and deep, but as I'm up at 5 and out the doors early my neighbours are starting to get a little ****ed off with me waking them up, my missus thinks I rev it in the morning which I don't. So being sort of new to all this what would be involved in replacing it back to stock, is it a simple case of getting a stock back box , bear in mind I don't have much of a clue about cat back and the like so be nice lol....
  10. Took one today while in Folkstone, actually looks clean, but needs a dam good wash
  11. Ok thought I had buyer, but no luck, so still for sale
  12. Brand New, previous owner bought it and never fitted it, I'm in Dover Kent , not into the tuning world but apparently only of any use if I get a remap which I'm not, so Ive been told anyway
  13. Selling this due to previous owner leaving it in the boot for me to fit , as im not going to bother with maybe someone on here would be interested Anyway £40 if anyone wants, extra £10 if needed posting
  14. Dont think I would be going down the more power road quite happy the way it is, anyone know what its worth.
  15. Previous owner left this in the boot for me, didnt say exactly what it was but somebody help me with what it is, is it of any use and does it help any way, my youngen said its a new set of lungs for me lol, could do with it if it is. Also my driver seat squeeks like mad, is there any solution to this or is it just a case of putting up with it, it is quite annoying.. Thanks for any help with this
  16. Right just a quick update , gone out to the car this morning and found that some inconsiderate t**t has left me nice surprise on the passenger rear door, a nice deep scratch under the door handle, obviously someone's done it by opening there door onto mine, just don't understand people who do this, Well cheesed off. Still think its a bargain for the price but just to let people know.
  17. I should be OK now thanks now I've managed to sort my Insurance out, just need to adjust the front which I'm not sure how to do, my mechanic said it would take a couple of hours to sort out is this correct, and that I need a special c spanner. Not sure Id be able to get a jack under it to do it myself either lol
  18. So with these weitec coil overs , going through the history of the car a kit was fitted and it is adjustable, is this an easy thing to adjust, as the front of the car is about the same height as the kerbs and if I try to bump onto them it catches the bottom of the front spoiler, also its very creaky at the front, is this because it is to low or is just a common thing with coil overs,
  19. So as some may have read on a Insurance thread, I recently bought a modified Octy Vrs, Insuring was a bit of a mare, but managed to get it sorted in the end thanks to some good advice on here.. Anyway I bought the car as it had a lot of work done and a full service history, and though it would give me a few months without having to spend any money on her, How wrong could I be, It was bought with the knowledge that it had a cambelt and waterpump change done in 2013 actually got the receipt for it,anyway as I was getting an oil change on her yesterday my mechanic noticed pink water at the bottom of the engine, not a lot although enough to tell me my waterpump is knackered, BOOM £300 straight away. Nice little surprise for Easter, on the bright side I wasn't going to bother with an oil change for a bit, but though Id get it done after reading some posts on here with regards to keeping it fresh especially for the turbo, so I could have been driving around without the knowledge the waterpump was knackered in turn possibly costing more... Always look on the bright side I say
