  1. I have tried this with the latest VCDS 17.1 and there is no option for retention of either the driver or passenger seat heating level. Has anyone managed to enable this on a Rapid?
  2. Have you done it on a Fabia or Rapid though?
  3. I am trying to enable retention of the heated seats level after switching off the ignition on my 2017MY Rapid Spaceback. I have tried following the Octavia guide here: However I do not seem to have this setting under Adaptions when using OdbEleven. Has as anyone managed to turn this on on a Rapid or Fabia (which shares many of the same bits)?
  4. My MY2017 Spaceback has green illumination for the switches, and the steering wheel buttons are white like yours.
  5. You have to use the original SKODA SD card, there is a guide on the Octavia forum here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/402860-amundsen-satnav-update/
  6. Mine has just ticked over 4K, still waiting for the fuel consumption to improve.
  7. Your doing rather well then, mine was no where near what it was saying. This is mine, I'm hoping it improves over time:
  8. Have you tried calculating the mpg based on the distance travelled and amount of fuel added? I would suggest looking at using fuelly.com or something similar. I wouldn't believe the made up figures it gives on a tdi. I had to adjust mine to -13% to get the on board computer telling the truth.
  9. Have you tried using a genuine Apple lead? I made the mistake of ordering the same cable as you, which refused to work in my MY2017 Rapid. I tried the Apple lightening to USB cable and it works as expected. You can change tracks using the steering wheel buttons and select media using the Amundsen.
  10. Given the dieselgate scandal and the pushing of PCP deals with inflated GFV's I bet they are getting quite a few at the moment.
  11. MY2017 is cars built after week 22, which was the week commencing 30/05/16.
  12. Correct, as long as the car has been serviced and is in good condition for age / mileage you will have nothing further to pay.
  13. I wouldn't take that as a valid reason for them doing some actual work, as I made a card payment for mine. This is the email they sent when I chased it up.
  14. Having had my MY2017 Rapid Spaceback just over a month, I have now managed to have chance to experience the Ambient LED cabin lighting. The lighting comes on with the interior lights, but stays on while you are driving the car. It also has lights in the front door pockets which I hadn't noticed before. I have tried to get some better pictures of the Ambient Lighting, but it is very hard its only visible at night and the light output is quite low. The settings can also be adjusted in the car light settings on the MIB2.
  15. It doesn't effect the credit score, but it does show. So a finance company could see how many times you had done a VT, in the last 6 years at least.
  16. I would suggest sending a follow up email ([email protected]) to ensure this has been actioned, as when I did mine the pleasant Scottish lady had "forgotten" to action my VT despite taking payment from me for the shortfall! It does show on your credit file, please see attached images.
  17. It's in the manual for the Amundsen, I have attached the page in question.
  18. I'm guessing it will be under the passenger seat like the MY2017 Rapid.
  19. I have scanned the copy of the letter Skoda Finance send out when you request a VT, as it lists what is and isn't acceptable and you might find it useful. http://dh0.uk/scan_000344.pdf
  20. I have just had to fill my MY2017 Rapid Spaceback since filling it on collection 2 weeks ago. According to the MIB2 the adverage fuel consumption was 50.8, which I knew wasn't right having covered under 500 miles on a tank. The actual consumption from this tank was 45.4, has anyone else noticed a huge difference between what the car wants to believe and the truth? My previous Octavia was spot on with the trip computer figures, I'm hoping the consumption improves on the Rapid as it's quite bad for a diesel.
  21. Mine certainly doesn't drag the car forward, it just holds on the brake when you let go. Then let's go once you press the accelerator. Which is exactly how it worked on my previous DSG Octavia. Have you asked your dealer to look at it, as that doesn't sound right.
  22. What engine do you have? I can't say I've noticed the issues you mentioned in my 1.4 tdi. I would think if you disable hill hold, you will have to try to catch it with the clutch to stop it rolling back. I'm sure this would wear the clutch over time?
  23. When I ordered mine, it was £500 deposit paid on order placement to the dealer.
