Hi, I have a bit of a problem that I am unable to solve. Like out of the blue, my car started to use a hell of a lot more diesel. Motorway jumped from cca 5,5 to about 9,6 L/100KM. I drive about 140km/h on CC. Urban consumption jumped from 5,7 to a now regular 8,x L/100km. and I noticed my idle consumption jumped from 0.6/0,7 to about 0,9 without AC on and 1,1 L/h with AC on. There is no smoke, stinky diesel fumes, car drives and pulls as ever, no flat spot, jerkyness or any other signs something is wrong other the amount of fuel it uses. Checked: MAF, MAP, coolant temp sensor (cluster and ECU part), fuel temp sensor, engine oil for diesel residue, turbo pipes for leaks, intake pipe for holes, fuel lines for holes, fuel cooler for leaks, scanned for errors - nothing came up. Logged via VCDS on 3rd speed pulls, all came good. Starting to loose my **** over this. Didn't do: Changed fuel filter for last 20.000km and air filter for last 8.000km. Checked by brimming the tank and driving for 100km, I don't need to, I feel the consumption is greater by thinning of my wallet. There are some logs in attachement. Hi, I got an interesting problem, Dash backlight illumination flicker without aparent reason. Backlights of intrument panel, hazzard light triangle and buttons above the radio and radio illumination. Everything is functional, just flickering, sometimes 3-4 times in a row in 1 minute, sometimes 2-3 timen in hour. I didn`t notice illumination on doors flicker for windows. any ideas ?

Weeeell, you have 3 disc sizes. For Fabia Junior it was 232mm front discs and 13" wheels (1.2 MPI 8v), all other comes with 256mm front ventilated discs apart from vRS (PD130 TDI) that came with 280mm ventilated discs.

I have this problem when I upgraded from drums to discs at the rear. Still have a bit of pedal travel

I switched mine for Golfmk4 one. I don't need to slide it to off position, just to press brake or clutch pedal and it deactivates automatically. The one problem I had was with ABS controler modul. It had error on it and ECU didn't allowed me to use CC as it tought the car had brake failure.

Not the RHS ones. Continental ones did.

That and offset of the disc is not the same for 5x100 and 5x112 stud pattern

All that, plus you need to extend the right fog light loom as the standard one is not long enough. I had (have) vRS bumper on my ex. 1.4 MPI present car.

My wagon, test-fitting ZW1s. Will fit 1.75 inch lips on rears.

So I bought myself a RH ZW 1 and I am very veeery happy about it... The camber is spot on At the back it needs 1 centimeter bigger adapters, from 25mm to 35 mm And all this on 195 40 r17 tyres So guys, what do you think ?

@vrs Joe: Bosnia And Herzegowina. Here only GTI and S-line, AMG etc are bought. vRS in B&H is expensive, and still people think that Skoda is poor mans car. @joe : wheels are 16", the rear ones are huge. they are 205 50 r16, a big fat tyre, but I am not concerned, because the new ones are comming. RH ZW2 8x17" with 195 40 r17 tyres And now back to the car, the tailights are gone, yeeeey

Finally, got her slammed, can't go lower for couple of reasons: 1. Tyre is soo close to the metal, 2. Front suspension is low to the ground and our roads are c*ap, full of potholes and bumpstops. But I think it is low enough, will do untill i fit airride Tomorrow this tailights will be off the car, and a facelift new ones will be on. So, what do you think ?
