My central locking has been a problem for a while on the passenger side not always locking or unlocking but this is a new one. the drivers door unlocks (thingy goes up and down) but the lever inside the car does nothing. No resistance at all. The outside handle is similar. ove a feeling it’s died a death which I’ve accepted and ordered a new lock from flea bay as I’ve decided it’s time to let go and move on but need to sort the door As it won’t be until after xmas. the big question is. How the hell do I open the door? I know how to do everything else. This is the replacement for when my micro switch died, Any ideas or links are appreciated.

HI. i stumbled on this thread as I was wondering that after a year of owning the 02 plate ambiente I have noticed that the mirrors on my car have never warmed up. I saw also in another thread that the moving together was not a faulty wireing but the brains gone daft. the windows not working on all switches on drivers door but on there own switch just says that the drivers switch unit is faulty. I'm not sure if you can change them separately or just buy a new unit from a breakers as for your lights I think I have the answer. if you open your door does the courtesy light illuminate on the door? if not there's your problem. its a silly little micro switch on the door lock. I didnt have the time to mess about) does anyone know how I can find out if the mirrors are heating or faulty.
