  3. Any thoughts 2010 yeti 4x4 with the 170 2.0 engine with over 200K on the clock. Recently had a replacement HPFP and cam sensor plus cam belt and water pump. But today just wont start on the key. Can turn the car over and over and wont start. A quick squirt of easy start in the air intake and the car will start and tick over. Turn it off and wont start. 5. For those that have the roof bars for your Yeti this may be of interest I have been looking for a bag to Store the bars in when not on the Yeti and found this from Audi Audi part number 8R0071156C The roof bars fit perfectly and the bag is very well made.
  6. I had the same problem but a few months back when washing the car the strip lifted on one end Also if you have the silver strips on the front they are likely to fall off as they are stuck in a similar fashion
  7. Here are some other pictures that I took before fitting Drivers Side Fitting is simple as TJK said you just need to muster up the courage to tug hard to remove the existing one Fitting just needs a very firm press to fit
  8. Think they all are I done it many times with various makes of car.
  9. The Kenwood looks interesting as it supports IPOD connect Bit more info here More info HERE @ the Kenwood Site

    MDI Retro Fit

No mine is strapped to the bottom of the top tray There is a sort of fin on the unit from what I can tell the mounting point is some place behind the heater control.

    MDI Retro Fit

I would not leave it like that it's ok for testing Funny though it did not rattle or give any problems

    MDI Retro Fit

You should be able to mount the unit easily where you like as there is plenty of room in and around the console area

    MDI Retro Fit

also the Ebay link is showing the part number as 5N0035341C of the MDI Part number listed in ETKA is 5N0 035 342B to correct this 5N0 035 342 B - MDI - to 30.05.2010 5N0 035 342 C - MDI - From 31.05.2010 Also listed is 5L0 971 199 - Adapter wiring set - This attaches to the MDI So the part number on ebay should work if you have a later build

    MDI Retro Fit

That part contains the MDI unit that is mounted in an arm rest adaptor for a VW it wont fit a Yeti But you can remove the MDI from the arm rest adaptor to use

    MDI Retro Fit

Pull up the gear leaver cover and trim ... You will then see the fixings holding the tray in place

    MDI Retro Fit

I have not found a UK one only the left hand drive version and I have the left hand drive version of the tray and it wont fit right hand drive car
  19. Would have thought the tray was held in the same as the pocket a couple of torx near the front.
