The fuel gauge on my VRS reads the correct amount when I turn on the ignition then over about ten minutes it slowly drops to empty. I have fitted a new pump and sender but the fault remains, any ideas gratefully received.

All tyres are newish and just balanced, new discs all round, 6 speed manual FWD

My 2010 CR 140 estate is juddering when i accelerate, it happens around 2200 to 2500 rpm and is worse in 3rd and 4th gear whilst accelerating moderately, i have fitted a new dual mass flywheel and clutch, 2 new quality front struts and top bearings, 2 new drive shafts and a new gear box end top engine mount. I am now at the point of getting rid as the juddering is very noticeable and uncomfortable, the car has 140,000 miles on the clock and runs sweet, help ?

I have just updated the firmware on my 2011 superb, however when I try to update the maps it spits the disc back out and I get a message CD/DVD error check disc. I have tried 3 different discs from 3 suppliers and all the same. its annoying as I now have no points of interest etc., the Columbus play CDs fine, help please

Anyone any idea where I can get a front wheelarch liner from, just bought a 2016 ridiculously cheep after a little bump but it needs an offside font liner, anyone got one please ?

Just bought a really nice 1.2 2005 fabia but the mirror switch is missing, I have tried two different ones neither work but I borrowed one from a polo and it worked fine. How do I know which switch I need ? Cheers Simon

I have taken the car back for a free diagnostic check, the dealer has informed me the update was done successfully and there was no more they could do, I now am awaiting a response from Skoda UK.

try the rear brake backplates, I tried everything on mine and when I had a tyre fitted I found it had rotted round the bolts, sounded just like the exhaust.

my car was absolutely brilliant before it went in, i tow a caravan and like to be able overtake the slow tourists where i live, its also very hilly so I have noticed a big change since the fix, I repeat there was absolutely nothing miss with the car before fix !!!

had mine done and its terrible, sluggish poor throttle response only the last 1/3 of the throttle pedal travel seems to do anything, and fuel consumption increased, I am awaiting a full diagnostic by Skoda and the I will challenge Skoda Uk re this matter, ruined a lovely car !

all gone over my head, but if some one can put the old map back in i would be very interested indeed, cash waiting etc, cheers simon.

DONT have it done, my 140 is now awful, flat, unresponsive, and fuel economy 7mpg worse at 70 mph, I am now in dispute with Skoda !

just had mine done shocking !! DONT DO IT ! power well down, fuel economy up, BEWARE.I am, now in dispute with Skoda over this matter.

I have had my Superb in for recall, my advice is dont do it my car is now flat as a fart, fuel economy 7mpg down, sluggish at motorway speeds, noticeable turbo lag, in short ruined a good car, anyone else have any experience of this. I am now awaiting a full diagnostic at mySskoda dealer ( which they wanted me to pay for, i refused of course) If the diagnostics prove nothing wrong then I have to take it up with Skoda UK. Help I want as much feedback as poss to confront Skoda with, many thanks Simon.

Had my 2.0 ltr done, its CRAP, flat as a fart and 7 mpg down am now in dispute with skoda, awaiting full diagnostic check ( which they want me to pay for, I have refused to pay !) It has ruined what I thought was a brilliant car!

Had my 2011 superb done on 28/07, i feel the car is shocking, acceleration gone, mpg poor, dreadful turbo lag, cruising at 70 on motorway the throttle is almost at the floor and there is nothing when the throttle is floored, turned a superb car into one i really don't like. The Skoda dealer seems quite uninterested, they said i would have to pay for a full diagnostic check, I have refused to pay and the car is going back in on 30th, if they find nothing wrong I have take it up with Skoda UK but I have already contacted them and they tell me its up to the dealer. ADVICE !!! DONT GET IT DONE !! ITS RUINED MY CAR. I f it cant be remedied it will be sold.

How would an insurance company know if the car was chipped any way?, just dont tell them!

On Wednesday 19/03/2014 I bought an Elegance 140 cr manual estate 2010, driving it home from Nottingham to Whitby the average fuel consumption was shown as 58.7mpg
