  1. Wow, just wow!! is all I can say. Kudos for going for it with so many upgrades and OEM+ retrofits. As you say it's what Skoda should have sold the car with. I did indeed have VCDS and had played about with a few settings. Sadly I owned the Octavia at the same time as getting married, buying property and other expensive things, so the amount of mods it's got in my ownership was limited to low cost stuff. Looks like it's well cared for now though. Always good to see.
  2. Correct. It is a genuine VW item though, from the Polo 6R. looking forward to some mods and tweaks.
  3. Ican't remember, think I bought it from a forum/ebay so not removed from my car. Looking through eBay it seems to have been fitted to the following vehicles: VW Golf Mk6 Skoda Superb Mk2 VW T5 Transporter Van VW Passat 3C B6 R36
  4. Just unearthed a Bluetooth Module while clearing out my spare room. It is a 5N0 035 730 A, I've no use for it as I've changed to a 2014 SEAT Leon with factory bluetooth. Feel free to look into if this will work with any of your Head Units. Currently on eBay for £57, would sell for a much better price to a fellow Briskodian.
  5. The Bluetooth unit has been sold to @dilksie pending payment. What phone do you have @Priyesh? Do you know what BT module you currently have? Just found a second module in my treasure chest. Its a 5N0 035 730 A so is slightly older. Will try and research it's capabilities.
  6. The Bluetooth Module is the 5N0 035 730 D with the following spec: 3G = 3G / UMTS Network Support HFP = Hands Free Profile (phone connect to car, uses car mic and speakers) PBAP = Phone Book Access Profile A2DP = Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (Media/Audio Files on your Phone play on your Car's Radio/Stereo rSAP = Remote-SIM Access Profile (Phone inactive/standby, Bluetooth Module takes over all Functions This works with iPhone and Android, and support Bluetooth Audio (music streaming). It requires a Black and White Instrument Cluster display, and doesn't work with the older red-dot cluster. Hope this info helps. I will dig out the parts tonight and post some photos. Willwork out a price then too. In fairnes I offered the unit to @dilksie first. @Priyesh you can have first refusal if he turns it down. The loom will be similar to here: Blackline Bluetooth Kit Loom Mic (Eddie) Refer to the Ross-Tech website (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Telephone_Retrofitting)
  7. Very nice! Very Mk5 Golf-esque. Did you paint or vinyl wrap? Having a closer look at the black upper grille it looks like it's PlastiDipped?
  8. P.S. I still have a Bluetooth module, mic and loom I never got round to fitting. Have already sold the new style wheeel centre caps though. :-/
  9. Nooo!! If I knew somebody on here was looking for an Octavia I'd much rather have done a private sale. PM me and I'll give you all the history/details about it. Enjoy the car, when I traded it in it was running solidly, engine like a train. Glad to see it's kept in the hands of a fellow Briskodian. Did the sales guy mention a remap at all? As you can see above I've had a REVO Stage 1 on it since 69,000 miles. Much improved the torque, acceleration and economy.
  10. Sad to see the back of my Octavia, but I traded it in last week. :( A car more than worth its money. Add a REVO Stage 1 map to it and it was brilliant. Approx 200 bhp and 50+ mpg all day long. Feeling the loss of power already, going down to a standard car. I made the move to a SEAT Leon FR 184 Technology Pack. A very smooth car, too easy to find yourself on the wrong side of the speed limit. :-S so many toys and gadgets, loving it already. I'll stick around the forum, great place for much usefully info. :-)
  11. For sale are 4 new Genuine Skoda Wheel centre caps (3still in protective wrapping). I bought them on eBay a couple of years ago but never got round to fitting them to my Octavia. Car is now sold so centre caps available for sale. OEM Part Number 5JA 601 151. They are the correct size for Octavia Neptune, Zenith and Gemini wheels, as well as many other. Located in Edinburgh, although I work in Fife. if you are nearby any of those I will happily meet up with you to save postage. Otherwise I'm looking for £15 + £2 postage.
  12. Thanks for the update. I have just bought a Leon 5dr hatch 184 FR and will be following your photos/posts above to install a Dash Cam. Cheers
  13. Unfortunately in German (I think) but this video explains the 'fix' and shows the flow modifier: It looks like this: Another good website explaining the problem, difference between 1.6 and 2.0TDi and shows the different air intake flow conditioners: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2015/12/vw-flow-straightener-really-works/
  14. Where are you going for the Remap? I've had good success with Shark Performance in the past (3 cars) and now REVO. If anything you should see better MPG during normal driving, and hopefully and good increase in power.
  15. Ben, I have a similar car (also 2010 vRS CR TDi) although it not an estate. I had my car remapped at 69000 miles and had no issue with my clutch. Now at 105000 miles and it's puling as strong as ever. Day-to-day use my mpg is far better than before (daily commute 31 miles mostly motorway queues = 50-58mpg!). Remap was from REVO and is approximately 200bhp.
  16. For sale is my Apple Magic Mouse. Bought about 3 years ago and rarely used (I only had my MacBook for 18 months, and preferred the trackpad). Item is in very good condition, a couple of marks normal for light use. Comes in its original box and with batteries. I’m not sure how much juice is left in the batteries. Apple model number MB829ll/A A1296. Located in Edinburgh, local collection welcome. I work in Livingston so collection from there is also available. Price is £38 fixed, including postage.
  17. Aha, I went the Wurst for lunch yesterday. I've just started with MV Commercial on Muir Road. Will keep my eye out for your car. Might bump into you at some point.
  18. I know a guy goes by the name Golfman on the Mk5GolfGTI forum. I'll message you his details. Be prepared to pay for it though. Scott (golfman) has a price for everything i.e. Maybe £10 just for a diagnostic scan. :-o
  19. I drive to Livingston from Gorebridge every weekday. Where about do you work? I just started working with a truck body/crane building company in Houston Industrial estate.
  20. Mk2 Facelift Red Octavia driver here. I'm from Gorebridge (near Kenny) but now work in Livingston. [emoji1360] if a Livingston meet doesn't get enough interest then how about an Edinburgh meet? South Gyle/Hermiston Gait?
