  1. The stats on tyrereviews.co.uk seems to suggest the A3 is a slight improvement on the A2 on all fronts. Maybe the price on the A2s may go down? I love the A2s.
  2. Andyvee, I had a play with the 2016 download link for ROW and I think this may be the latest map - http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/maps/P55_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_NT_Q1.15.zip
  3. Thanks for having a look Andyvee. If you stumble upon them, please post. Cheers.
  4. Hi Andyvee, Could you please help with the 2016 ROW version of the map? If you remember the 2015/2016 version didn't load. Hope this time it works. Here's the details of the file name: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/index.php?/topic/356050-MIB-Columbus-ECE2015-2016-Maps-Direct-Download-Link/page__view__findpost__p__4255788 Thanks.
  5. Anyone know what battery type goes into the MK3 VRS key fob with KESSY? I just got a message on the MFD asking to change battery. Got the car end of Feb so 8 months battery life in total. Did others have similar experience? Thanks.
  6. I own a MK3 Octavia VRS with manual transmission. I had this happen to me a couple of times now while driving into properties which are up a 'hill' with narrow drive ways and on a higher gradient than normal (probably 45-50 degree inclines, if not more). The climb is fine but for whatever reason if I stop midway and put it in 1st and push the throttle the brakes stay engaged and I couldn't disengage them; the engine shuts down eventually. I restart the car and sometimes it still stays engaged. I'm trying to decode what it means, would be interesting to know the reason. Has anyone had similar experience and have a possible explanation.
  7. Check this out - http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/191645937926
  8. I just tried that, the only problem is that it takes you to the files under the the MIB1 folder and you have to go through them and select the right ones I'm assuming. Not sure this would be the right way to go as you can easily stuff up the upgrade if you don't know what files to choose. This particular upgrade maybe a temporary file and they are yet to add the encrypted (.md5) file to the folder I think. Thanks for the help again Andyvee.
  9. Maybe you don't need all the files in the folder, just the ones relevant to your country?
  10. Andyvee, when I checked the ROW zip folder there were a total of 3 items - 2 folders (Mib1, Mib2) and a file (metainfo2.txt). Are these the items you have as well? Just wanted to confirm I'm not missing any files.
  11. That's exactly what I did! When updating, I started the car then inserted the SD card and then clicked on the update button under Navigation. It searches for the data and throws an error after a few seconds.
  12. Can you please detail the instruction here? Just wanted to ensure I'm doing it right, so far no luck with the 64GB card. Did you format it as Fat32?
  13. I tried the tool you suggested for the FAT32 format but it didn't work on the 64 GB card. I used MiniAide Fat32 formatter and that worked in formatting the card. I then unpacked the zip file and tried the update again. I received the same error message. I will try to get a 32 GB card tomorrow and see if that works. Thanks for the help mate.
  14. Yes, it's in exFAT format. That's the only option when I try to format the card on Windows 7. Don't have a 32GB card lying around, will have to wait till tomorrow morning to get one!
