uses to play destiny, but it's become a bit of a rip off, another £40 for the dlc's is a bit rich, some people paid for the premium version and still have to pay again....I'm currently playing witcher 3, came with 16 free dlc's and it £20 for the next to big dlc's which are as big as the whole witcher 2 game. also enjoy bf4, great for online fun Sent from my Lenovo K50-t5 using Tapatalk -

Advice please on EGR blank quick question?
supergeeman replied to cyber_killer's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
The hole is needed on 53 plate onwards as otherwise it puts the eml light on, unless you have had it mapped out... Earlier cars don't have the sensor and the ecu doesn't throw the code... In fact on earlier cars you just need to pull the vacuum pipe and block it. Stops all that sooty exhaust gas being sent back through the engine....and sends it through the turbo, which is where you want it.... Must be the best bang for your buck ever [emoji106] -

Fitted one to my passat 1.9 tdi, turbo spools up a little earlier, also should keep your engine oil cleaner, definitely beneficial and makes a real difference that you can feel, very pleased with mine, depending on your engine, slip it in near the manifold end of the egr, and enjoy the drive -
Oh ok... Used to have a ford cougar that did that, which meant it had a fault lol

What's the needle sweep for?

Depends on the additive, some do nothing... Some like millers seem to have a positive impact, since using 2 stroke in the tank, I have almost zero smoke, where as when I used to give it a boot full, it would discharge a small black cloud lol, definitely sounds smoother too.... Google it.... Lots of diesel forums seem to agree...i read about a test Mercedes did, and it was very positive

In the 80's a bbc producer "bit" a colleague in an argument..... Now I know it was 30 years ago.. (jesus I'm old lol) but what did the BBC do? Suspend him.... Sack him.... No.... He's the director general.... I kid you not.... They are so out of touch.....

Mineral 2 stroke oil also has similar effect...

I took my octavia 51 plate 4x4 Estate 1.8t off the road a few months ago, as I needed a diesel, (now purchased) and the octavia needs a front wheel brg and new clutch pedal, it's in nice condition apart from that, 130'000 miles, service history, considering the items needed, what am I likely to get? Ball park figure?

Check out blacksmoke remaps, they do a stage one "clutch saver" map, I have one one my passat 130 tdi, now sits at 165, you have to load the map on the ecu yourself, but it's easy, all instructions on their website... Cost £65 including the lead, (lead from ebay) pulls like a train! Best £65 I've spent

They add some noise but no real power gains, they often have worse filtration and are more restrictive than the stock set up, do sound good though

What he said....

Pointless on a tdi.... Does nothing

Mine wasn't split either.... I slipped the boot off and repacked it with grease and it it was a little better... Not saying it is that but worth trying
