Hi there. The warning Testing engine electronics light comes on my 2004 1.8t Vrs, it sometimes stays on for a week then goes out, i can then go another week with no light before it comes on again.When starting from cold sometimes it struggles to tick over until i give it a rev then everything is fine. My question is, is it likely the light keeps coming on because of the poor running and if so does anyone have any ideas what might be causing it.

Well looks like i spoke to soon came down this morning to find brake lights had been on all night so i have now fitted a new one it cost me £8 from skoda dealer and took about two minutes to fit it really is an easy job to do.

I would just like to say thank toy to everyone who has posted regarding this problem, i had same fault on my occy 2004 vrs, i took the switch out gave it a clean and refitted it, it is all working as normal now so once again i thank you all.

I spent weeks shopping around but was worth while found a cracking web site [url="http://www.tyretraders.com"i paid£58 each for Nokian 205/50/17 y which according to my tyre fitter is a bargin, site states 3-5 days for delivery but mine arrived in less than 24 hours definately worth a look.

I have the rear was wipe problem on my occy Vrs i had a quick read on the forums of roughly where the pipe comes apart and it then took me about 30secs to fix, if you look at the rear n/s of the boot under the speaker, the carpet that forms the sidewall take off clip and you will see the black pipe has come apart there, push back together a bit of tape round and away you go.
