just wondering if any of you have any experience of changing a turbo cartridge on a 1.9 tdi the new cartridge will be melett and will come fully balanced is there anything to watch out for when changing this

hi all unfortunately a few months ago my bxe decided to fail (hole in block) i sourced a bkc engine complete with pump and injectors, from a 2006 vw jetta and got it fitted I have noticed that my mpg is down now to about 42 where it was previously over 50 there is no faults stored on the car i am just wondering if this is something that a software update in a main dealership would help or has anyone any other ideas. i have changed the fuel filter checked heater plugs and loom changed air filter the egr was cleaned at the time of the engine replacement. would a software update affect the injectors thanks in advance

hi all my 2009 tdi octavia with 190000kms decided to punch a hole in my block today :no: common fault apparently i want to fit a older bkc engine just wondering if they are a straight fit also is the engine code stamped anywhere on the engine as i want to make sure i get one of these engines rather than another bxe

I have a 2009 Octavia facelift and I have two fob remote keys but only one of them is programmed to open the car' is other any way to programme the second remote myself

Hi I have a 2009 Octavia facelift and it has the DRL,s beside the fog light in the same lamp I am just wondering if there is any way of setting them so that they don't turn off when I turn on the parking or headlights on the car, I know that on the vrs fl the DRL,s stay on but just go dimmer, Just wondering if this setting can be applied to any Octavia or just the vrs
