Fabia vRS — 06 plate. When I turn the key to start the engine (only at the times specified above) it just makes a sort of clicking sound then eventually the engine will start. Hope this helps… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm having a problem starting the car after it has been parked up overnight or during work time. I got told it was the battery so stupid me, went out and bought a new one to discover I am still getting this problem. So the PD150 head bolts are better for the PD130 head?

My Fabia vRS is going into a garage this week to have a head gasket and someone mentioned putting some type of bolt on - but I can't remember what bolts they were - does anyone know what they are? Thanks.

Hey, I'm thinking about changing the original mk1 Škoda badges to the new ones. I've also been looking into replacing the centre badge of the steering wheel… Maybe change the badge to a vRS badge? I was having the same problem but didn't even have my car for a week. I took it back to the garage I bought it from and they are trying to get to the bottom of it. I should get feedback next week as it's going into main dealer for a diagnostic test. And then they can crack on with whatever is needed to be replaced. The first thing people say it is, is 'head gasket' but again, they've sent it too a specialist garage that specialise in head gaskets and nothing came of the test. If I were you I'd get the radiator and water pump checked out mate. Keep me updated and I'll do the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just heard off the mechanic he can't seem to see where it's coming from. He's gonna keep it for another day or two. He said he's done a 'block test' (I'm not sure what this consists), but he can't find anything :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
