  1. the link is dead now. I think the new one is http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/service/documentation/olders/pages/fabia.aspx
  2. My amundsen satnav has got lost by about 40 miles. Driving round Liverpool yesterday it thought I was in Salford. Now I'm in Lancashire and it thinks I'm in Derbyshire. Is there anyway to reset it / otherwise prompt it to think again?
  3. I am fitting a stereo in my 2001 X Fabia. I need help understanding the wiring from the old one. I realise I'll need to tweak some wiring - I was hoping to just "swap yellow and red". But when I pulled out the existing stereo (factory fitted MS202) , the brown plug is only populated in pins 3,4,5 and 6. So no yellow, no red, and totally different pins to what I expected. Can anyone tell me what my 4 wires are? Then I can relocate them for the new stereo. I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere for the ms202, and the ones I have found that might have been do not have this arrangement. I don't even trust an adaptor, because it will be expecting something different too, I think. 3 red 4 brown, red stripe 5 blue 6 brown, blue stripe
  4. Here goes, I think: One press: lock, deadlock, interior monitoring for the alarm, don't tow Two presses: lock, no deadlock, no interior monitoring for the alarm, don't tow One press AND first press the B pillar button: lock, deadlock, no interior monitoring for the alarm, OK to tow Two presses AND first press that button: lock, no deadlock, no interior monitoring for the alarm, OK to tow it would probably make more sense in a table. The warning message on the dash means: "watch out. next time you lock the car, the deadlocks will engage if you only press once". it is a reminder that two presses isn't saved, but that you have to do it every time you lock the car. clear as mud.
  5. My car (yeti) came this week with an amundsen instead of a bolero (the only warning i had was reading threads on here). no cd-changer in the boot, but that suits me fine.
  6. you've just listed all my reasons for asking! never mind. I'll settle for the parcel shelf for now, but I'd swap for an aftermarket retractable one if one ever comes along.
  7. Thanks to (most of!) the contributors to this thread; it is the best resource available for people about to get a yeti.
  8. Hello. I'm soon going to change my Fabia for a Yeti. Lurking in here has been ridiculously helpful (especially Johann's post on things to think about). The cars I've seen at dealers have all had a solid parcel shelf. Is it possible to get a retractable blind instead (either factory fit or aftermarket)?
