  1. I have a Skoda Fabia Classic 1.2 2004 and the back left door central locking motor has failed. ( The door directly behind the driver.) How can i find the part number for it and also if it is a 6-pin etc... Also I can see a lot of sellers on ebay are breaking cars down for parts. Are these motors the same for the left and right doors or I need to buy the motor for the specific door I require it for? Thanks.
  2. Thanks guys, The reason I looked at the Goodride is because they have the rim protection although not quite clear whether this is an additional bit that fits on the rim or it is part of the wheel itself?? I am getting the alloys powder coated soon so I want to protect them as much as I can really so i won't have to do that in a years time or so again. Also what is the difference between these two numbers: 205/45 ZR16 87W XL and 205/45 ZR16 83W
  3. I am looking for tyres for my VRS alloys(16"). As they are going on a Fabia Classic that is pretty old 2004 and money is a concern, I've been looking on these ones: http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=50517443.110.24321&Cookie=tyrepricebuster&sowigan=So&Breite=205&Quer=55&Felge=16&Speed=N&Load=&kategorie=1&Marke=Dunlop&ranzahl=4&tyre_for=&x_tyre_for=So&Herst=Dunlop&m_s=3&weiter=30&sort_by=preis&rsmFahrzeugart=PKW&filter_preis_bis=50&filter_preis_von=&homologation=&search_tool=standard&Label=C-C-72-2&details=Ordern&typ=D-105603 Is there anything I need to look in particular in a tyre other than fuel consumption and noise? I don't usually go on motorways so it's for short trips only within the city. The protective rim against kerbing is also attractive on these tyres. Your advice please...
  4. Where can i buy oem skoda wheel trims from? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah...that's what I was thinking... Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  6. I'm offering £120 if you can put them in one or two boxes and I'll collect them via our UPS account. Let me know 07859115885 I just need to project to keep me happy! You can keep the tyres....
  7. I want to give my Skoda Fabia Classic a slightly better look by changing the tired wheel trims. Can you please let me know which ones you like the most. Trim07 is actually replacing the wheels with some VRS alloys. Thanks Yanni
  8. My Skoda Fabia Classic 1.2 makes a very deep noise the first time I turn usually left. It is only the first time you turn after you start the engine and it does not do it again during the journey. Is it something I need to worry about? I made a video and the noise is between the 6th and 7th second. You need some speakers or headphones with bass to hear the short low noise. Thanks Yanni
  9. Thanks guys, so are most VRS alloy wheels compatible with the classic? Finally, as I am a first year driver they always ask me if the car had any modifications. Is changing the wheels to alloy ones considered to be a modification as this will increase my insurance significantly or even cancel any future claims. Thanks.
  10. I am looking to buy these alloy wheels from ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321382586877?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The seller told me that they are from a Fabia Comfort. If they are the same size( 15") as mine would they straight fit onto my Fabia Classic 1.2, 2004 reg without any extra modifications? Also, if they are bigger size i.e. 16" would they still fit? Thanks Yanni P.S - Attached my car
