How much lift do you get with the Favorit shocks in front?
-
A= same width as dampermount on rear axle B= hole same higth as dampermount on rear axle C= enuff higth so damper can move freely D= same width as damper E= (hand was faster than head, should be center-center of holes) same as diffrence between stock coil and new F= same length as dampermount on rear axle

How do you plan to do the lift in the front?
-
When i have a few minutes to spare i'll draw a sketch on the computer for you. The springs took a few days of comparing mesurements and the Focus was the closest match that gave me the lift i wanted.

Found this pic from when i testfitted the Focus coils

I took them from a 2001 Focus estate. Might have some photos from it, will have a look when i get home from work. Don't have the parts on the car anymore, are tinkering with some new stuff on it right now.

I was tinkering with raising a pickup some time ago, I used the rear coils from a Ford Focus, they are about 50mm longer. Then a bracket on the rear axel to raise the mountinpoint for the shock.

I know i'm bumping an old thread but i couldn't send a pm to felicia16v. We have a Skoda at work that doesn't work right now due to the immo so I'm wondering if you could share that knowledge on how to do it? We use the pickup for getting spareparts and such for our trucks so we really need it. /Jimmy

Great, my favorite solution then, find a bigger hammer.

Is the bolt that holds the suspension strut in the uprigth threaded in there or do i just need to find a bigger hammer to whack it loose? I broke my 16mm socket trying to make it move..
