    Curbed wheel

After curbing the wheel I have used knifing putty and it now looks just like new, but what paint do I use to finish the job. Will any alloy wheel paint do or can I get the matching paint from a Skoda dealer.
  3. Thanks Newbie. You were quite right.By disabling media audio everything is now working perfectly. Many thanks

  6. I have a yeti 1.6 greenline and a Htc one M7 with a Tomtom go app installed. Whenever I use Bluetooth I lose the voice instructions. I have also tried Google maps with the same result.I have been in contact via email with Tomtom who are still trying to resolve the problem. Their only suggestion was to turn on Bluetooth after I start driving but this did not work either. Any suggestions please.

  11. Can't tell you about torque figures as I dont have a record but achieved 35bhp increase. Very pleased with the re-map as I can feel a real difference. Had it done by Shaun at Sheffield re-map Attercliffe next to cop shop.Cost £250 but well worth it.if I remember right an extra £20 on insurance
  12. Excuse my ignorance what is F/L.Yeah no wind but had the greenline re-mapped. Does that make a difference?
  13. Just. returned from a 400 mile trip to the south west.Did a brim to brim fill up which showed 55mpg at 75 mph. Checked the maxi dot which surprisingly showed 55.4.Quite surprised
  14. Company called Sheffield re-map at Attercliffe.Cost £250 but well worth the extra 35 bhp.Not sure about what the torque figures are but what a huge difference. Not sure about warranty issues as mine expire in two weeks time.
  15. Had my Greenline re-mapped. What a huge difference.

    Vibration

Just wondered if anyone can help. At low speeds when changing gear I get an annoying vibration which appears to come from the engine compartment. All sounds Ok on tick over with the bonnet lifted.Anyone experienced this problem.

    Dpf issues

Thanks for that.I only mentioned I might have the Dpf removed. Perhaps I should move to the U.S. India or China.Would'nt be a problem then.

    Dpf issues

Thank you for all the replies. I really do appreciate them.I think on reflection I should have gone for a 1.2 as my anual mileage is about 4000. I love the car and don't want to move it on. I still haven't decided about Dpf removal but have contacted three specialists who categorically say the car will not fail the mot. As you have said I will wait and see how it goes. Once again thank you to all concerned.

    Dpf issues

This topic has probably been discussed before but as I am quite new to the forum I wondered if anyone could advise me on my problem. I have a 1.6 greenline and have noticed that the dpf is re-generating about once a week. The warning light came on a few days ago but went off after a few miles at 50mph. I do know I should have bought a petrol model as most of my mileage is around town.Obviously I burn more fuel when it is re-generating and I am now considering having the dpf filter mesh removed.Any thoughts please.
  24. Yes very minor increase on insurance. Warranty runs out in two months so not really worried about that
