This might sound stupid but would there be anyway off telling if they've actually used a genuine bumper? Would anyone have any pics off they're bumper I could compare it too?

I spoke with the accident repair place, they're happy with it and was more less told to **** off, so I phoned my insurance and I'm waiting to here back. The insurance said they garage should've used only genuine new parts orders specifically to your chassis no. The part where the bumper is connected to the under tray should be completely straight? And the coolant should be pink? And the web part removed? The whole thing has been bloody nightmare

Hi, I'm just looking some advice, I recently hit a badger which badly damaged the car, so I had little choice but to use my car insurance, they insisted on me using they're preferred garage, said would cost extra £150 on my excess if I use different garage. I'm not very impressed with the result, the accident repair place used the wrong coolant, and the bumper just doesn't look right to me, any advice would be awesome. Thanks Jason

The door sticks out about 5mm at the top, purchased it from private dealer, took the car to my local Skoda dealer, car is still technically under warranty, they checked the hinges and door they said it's probably just the way it was made in the factory, they said they could order new door but no guarantee it'll be any different. So took it to body shop the dude just bent it in so looks great now

Hi, I recently purchased a late 13 reg Fabia vRS and loving it, however I've noticed that the driver side front door doesn't sit flush with the rest of the car, the passenger side is perfect and the rear doors are perfect but not sure if winds just caught it real bad with pervious owner. I can add couple pics later to illustrate better. I'm not sure what to do about it, car is still under warranty but not sure if it's more a thing you'd need a body work place to look at or weather just to leave it alone all together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

So basically came back to discover that someone hit my rear bumper :( they've hit the black strip of plastic that runs just under the bumper and thank god they've missed the actual paint bumper. I was able to push it back into place and shape but it's all scratched. Does anyone know if it possible to just replace that plastic strip or would you need to replace the whole rear bumper? Thanks

Could you get springs that lower the car by 60mm?

I spoke with dealer about the eibach springs they said they could supply and fit for £200 but they said they only lower the car 25mm which doesn't sound like much when you think how high the rapid sits. I was thinking you'd need to lose near 60mm?

Any thoughts on this. Seen it on the Seat Toledo it has the TSI badge just below the indicator on both sides was thinking might look good on my sport

I lend my sport to my mother and it was returned with the front passenger marked, I too was really annoyed and after alot of phone calls to different "alloy specialist" I just ended up buying a new alloy from Skoda, wasnt working out much more expensive anyways because of the diamond cut

I can now also add water in the rear passenger footwell :( I was wondering what the slushing noise was today!

Build quality My rapid sport has just rolled over 10000 miles and can honesty say I've been surprised by the build quality of my car how bad it is. Issues include bad vibrations from the radio, dash and front driver side door. Cloth on both front seats coming off. Paint on the rear bumper cracking and chipping off. Bad creaking from steering. Loose fog light and knocking noise from front which turned out to be the fog light moving about. Skoda have fixed all issues so far and have been really great however I can't help but feel the issues should never have been there in the first place.

I took delivery at the end of February so suppose that makes sense, hate the way they do that! Personally might change from the rapid to the new fabia I feel over all disappointed with the rapid
