  1. Hi. Had the fabia 4 months now and not sure if it has an indicator light for when the washer fluid gets low. Have read the manual and it references that there is an indicator but I've had to fill the reservoir twice since getting it following it running out with no indication. 1st time was in the winter so just presumed nozzles frozen and not actually empty but now.... Hmmmm Thanks Darren 2018 Monte Carlo estate.
  2. Hi. Have the 110 tsi monte carlo and really pleased with it, came from a yeti 4x4 2ltr diesel. Boot is a really good size and very practical, the M C spec adds a bit of bling to the interior. Performance wise as you say 80% of the time will be fine. Loaded up with luggage or people and things change quite a bit. It's nippy up to 60 on the flat but on an incline trying to get it up to motorway speeds it's a different matter, obviously made worse if it was loaded. I drive the car mainly on my own but if I had a family then it wouldn't have been a good choice. Other than the engine, which I knew would not be powerful enough at certain times, it's a great car. Yes, the M C has rear parking sensors as standard.

  4. Yeah probably, when I can find it!! Ha ha. Thanks for the advice tho. I'll check it out.
  5. Well..... Funny you should mentioned that. I have a set of steels and winters from the yeti they're 16s but ET45 I think so not sure they would fit (been googling tyre/wheel size for the fabia but there's nothing online). So, yes. Once they're sold I'll replace them with a set that will fit the fabia or buy some chains/socks instead.
  6. Ha. Yes. Ironic that the day I get rid of the 4x4 we have the worst snow in years. The fabia couldn't get up the slop off the driveway yesterday when I got it back home. Oh well. Best get used to digging and gritting. Thanks
  7. More pics of the new Fabia Monte Carlo estate.
  8. Hi. No, these are the optional 17's. 16's look a little small for my preference. Thanks Darren
  9. Hi. Been lurking in the forum background for a while since ordering a Monte Carlo Fabia to replace my Yeti. Picked it up today. Will try to post some more pics of it later this week. Darren
  10. I'm picking my new monte carlo up in a few hrs and have ordered a set of these https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-accessories-products/car-interior-accessories/seat-cover/?551777642&0&t5_504 Not pleasing to the eye but had good reviews and 35%off this weekend. Whole set about £20. Bootliner may be there too.
  11. We had a few hours on some of the 'green lanes' around the Nant-y-Moch Resevoir. Water was a little too deep to progress to far on one of them so will wait for it to dry out a bit.
  12. Few pics i took on BH Monday while doing a bit of 'Soft Roading' in Mid Wales. Surprised by the amount of snow that had fallen the day/night before. Quite a few large puddles to er... negotiate Great views though.
  13. It was like a yeti convention on the south coast yesterday. Was visiting the parents on holiday in Exmouth and the place was rammed with yetis. Surrounding area too. Might have something to do with the demographics I think.
  14. I swear the radio volume reduces automatically when I brake heavily or under hard acceleration and then returns to normal once driving smoothly. It's like there's some sort of sensor measuring g's or something. ;/
  15. When using the satnav the directions volume can be adjusted without going into the settings by using the volume button when the instructions are being given.
  16. Please educate us further then..
  17. It's the same on my F/L model too. Rear wiper is manual operation only. Push or pull the right stalk.
  18. Hi. Are the mudflaps a set of 4 and are they pre facelift?
  19. Do you want to go up or down?
  20. Had the advisory come up on the MFD the other day saying oil change required in 400 miles. Was a bit confused as the cars only done 8.5k. Emailed the dealer and as long as i take it in for the 1st service before it gets to 10k or reaches 12mths old then it'll be ok, so not sure why the 400 mile advisory came up. Anyway, dealer quoted £123 for its 1st 'lubrication' service. Includes oil, oil filter and inspection.
  21. How much can you save buying from the UK?
  22. Mines the same. Both me and the wife have stalled it. Only from standstill. Just not enough revs i presumed. One thing i do like about it is the need to not use the accelerator in stop start slow moving traffic. Just let the clutch out slowly and it'll crawl along nicely. Did the same on my old C5 but but the Yeti seems to cope better without the revs than that did.
  23. Yeah. Thought the same as you. It wouldn't work above a certain speed. I thought it was around 10mph. Also thought I read somewhere that you have to be stationary to switch it back off. That's what I've been doing but its a bit of a pita. Will watch this thread with eagerness (or reread the !manual) :/
