Clutch pack is now replaced and the car drives smoothly. No stutter at all. Like new. It’s now i realize how bad my clutch pack was. But i guess over time you dont notice the breakdown

Edited my own post also

No waiting for a price quote. I had the oil and software update. I also had the mechatronic changed under warrenty in 2014 But diagnostics confirmed the source of the problem. Will update thread after i had the job done
-
Update. It was the clutch pack in the DSG that caused the stutter.
-
Changed air filter also today. It was in a sorry state. So will see if that have some impact. Before i go spending money on coil packs. The stutter is before the engine reaches normal running temp. Will check fuel filter change also thanks for the inputs so far

Replaced spark plugs. But still som stutter when cold. But intermittend and therefore my next step would be to check if there is misfire. And no fault triggered on my dashboard. But makes sense if there would be to few to trigger a log as you said
-
Would a faulty coil pack trigger some available reading if i connected my car to a diagnostic tool? Or must there be a fault triggered on my dashboard warning before any faults could be found. I was thinking of intermittend engine misfire.

Thanks for tip

Hi My 2010 1,4 tsi DSG has started to have a slight judder/stutter when cold. The tacho jumps up and down by +- 100-200 rpms. It almost like it runs to low on rpm. It is a bit annoying and especially because it makes the drive a bit uncomfortable. Talked to the local dealer and they say it is because the engine is set up this way and normal. Emission etc. Any toughts or is it nothing to do about it. Feels worse when it is wet weather. When engine is warm its silky smooth

An update. Had the car in for service an the dealer coded my drl so that now my back lights are off. I didnt ask for it but afterwards i noticed that newer octavias have the same. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I had the same problem. I bought some ferrit filters (noise filter) that i clamped on the dash cam wire in both ends. Ebay has loads of them. Just get the right size Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Wow. I liked it all except for the monte carlo decals on the side and wind deflectors. Amazing effort Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi. Was looking at some different octavia's on the net and i noticed that skoda is running different exhaust end systems for different engines. 1,2 tsi has singel endpipe, 1,6 diesel has singel end pipe. 1,4 tsi has double endpipe. And so on. Any reason for this.?? Must be an expensive way to do it. If you look at other car brands they almost always use the same exhaust system. Diesel or petrol. Now i notice that i almost always can tell which engine the octavia is running just by seeing the end pipe. Just wondering[emoji6] Alsomme Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My drl are working when i leave my light switch in the off position. It also leaves the rear lights on. I guess it's like Scandinavian set up?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The storm "Nina" went past here yesterday. Me and my octy went out to look at the aftermath. Rough seas and a lot of wind still. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

dsg changing gears, is it norma?
Alsomme replied to clover's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
That sounds correct but not a pause. If he feels like a manual box with clutch pause something is wrong. You will feel the dsg changing gears but not a pause. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Alsomme replied to clover's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
There shouldnt be a pause/gap between gear changes in any speeds/rpms. I had i distinct clunk/judder between 1 and 2 gear. Got a new mechatronic from dealer under warranty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
