Does anyone know if the Speed Camera Icons would be displayed on the Skoda Connect Sat Nav version? I’m getting a bit fed up with the out of date traffic updates on the standard version but wouldn’t want to lose the Icons!

Hello @bigade1, Thanks for the amended version. I noticed that the file size for the original April update was much smaller than usual so as you say probably some data corruption somewhere? Your efforts are much appreciated.

The January update worked fine for me (thanks again @bigade1 for providing this brilliant service). Did you try to upload the folder rather than the two sub-folders?

I am currently having a problem with my Octavia's clutch pedal sticking down intermittently (Mk 3 petrol). I have spoken to my local independent garage who reckon it is either an issue with the Slave or Master Cylinder. They looked under the bonnet and stated that the Slave Cylinder was located externally to the Clutch therefore could be changed quite easily although they couldn't guarantee that this would fix the problem but would be much cheaper than changing the Master. However, having looked at some posts on here regarding this problem, posters have stated that the Slave is located inside the clutch housing - is anyone able to clarify as would be concerned if the mechanic got this wrong.

Had my Skoda Octavia serviced here twice. The first service a year ago was excellent from the initial booking, car collection / return and paperwork. Sadly the service recently undertaken was the complete opposite. When I booked my car I advised them that I had changed the number plate since the previous service and provided the new details. Was advised that they would update their records. When the driver came to collect the car he nearly didn't knock at my door as he assumed that the car on the drive was not the one to be collected as he still had the original registration number on his records. When I was phoned to be advised that the service had been completed I was quoted a price which was £40 more than I had been previously quoted. This was then rectified before I paid. When the car was returned the paperwork for the Health Check was missing. The driver promised this would be sent but a week later had not been received. I then put a request in for this via their website and did not get either an acknowledgement of my request or the Health Check by post. The car was due to have a Brake Fluid change but this was not ticked on the Service Book when the car was returned. I questioned this to the driver he said 'Don't worry I can tick that' and duly did as if that solved the problem however, Brake Fluid was also not listed under Parts / Materials. I then made a compliant by email about the missing Health Form and concerns about the Brake Fluid. Their responses have been lacking in both acknowledgement of their shortcomings and a half hearted offer to check the Brake Fluid although stating that it had been changed but no explanation why the book hadn't been ticked or replacement fluid listed as a part/material. Next year I will use a different dealer....

I can choose which Maxidot option to display and have selected speed only but the display is showing fuel range!

Sorry, I meant the maxidot display options.

I have selected current driving speed as the only option to display on the MFD yet dashboard is showing fuel driving range - does anyone know how to get speed to display? Thanks.

Hello, Last weekend I became the proud owner of a nearly new Octavia Estate SE. I would really like to retro fit the Variable Floor and was told by the salesman that it was possible and would cost approximately £250. I have today contacted the parts department of both the dealer where I purchased the car and another local main dealer who have both advised that it is only possible to fit the floor to the Mk2 version. Has anyone been able to purchase the floor for the Mk3 and if so can you provide the parts numbers? Also, is it possible to purchase a fitted mat for the upper floor? Many thanks.
