    PID

When i first specced my Citigo i decided against having the PID among other options unit due to trying to keep costs down etc. (im a student running on a budget). Now however i have the necessary funds for the PID and i was wondering if anyone knew if you can buy a PID unit at service and have it installed, or does it only work if it comes with the car when new? thanks

      money is the big issue!

  8. I've got black box insurance from Bell on my Citigo, saved me about £750 for fully comp insurance than having no black box. Thought i might aswell give it a shot, no biggie driving slowly for my first year of driving, especially as its my first car and I don't want to wreck it, but i have found that they do sod all even if you rag it a bit, theres no curfew for a start and they don't fine at all! Each week you get a driving score: bad, poor, average, good, or excellent. Im currently at average because mainly i do a lot of driving on dual carriageways and it is a pain in the backside to keep to 70, but i have friends that are at poor and nothing has been said to them at all. I guess it just depends who you decide to get insurance with. That said, I definitely won't be having a black box when my policy is due for renewal, because I really do not like the idea of some big corporation knowing where I am in the world when I drive.
  9. does anyone know if these alloys will fit a citigo? i don't really know a lot about wheel dimensions, but i really like the look of these alloys http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/dare/dr-rs/silver-chrome-rivets/16-inch
  10. so its been about 2 weeks since i first heard the rattle, and it appears that it has stopped of its own accord!
  11. So maybe i shouldn't worry about it for now, or should i take it into the dealer to have it checked or something? Just for peace of mind.
  12. Thanks for the quick reply, and yes I do like my music loud! I'm new on this forum so yeah not really sure when and where to post things at the moment
  13. I've had my Citigo since January, its a Citigo SE 60PS in Tornado Red. It's great little car and runs well. It's done 3000 miles in 4 months. Firstly, I normally listen to my iPod when I'm driving, but last week it broke, and I can't stand the the rubbish on radio, so I've been driving without the stereo on. Because of this I can now hear some rattling when I'm driving along - particularly in low gears under 2000 RPM. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I think it could be coming from the engine but I'm not an expert so I don't know. Secondly, I am looking at doing some modifications to my Citigo, does anyone know what are some good mods to do and if they affect the warranty and the finance agreement? Thanks
  14. Hi, I am new to this Skoda forum, I drive a 5 door, 60PS 2014 Skoda Citigo SE and I love it!
