  1. Heard back from the dealership today. No joy from Skoda finance. No refund or transfer to a new plan. After owning 4 new previous Skodas I certainly won't be buying another one.
  2. READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE TAKING OUT A SERVICE PLAN. In December 2022 I took out a 2 year service plan for my 2 year old Kodiaq. In late January I changed cars, for various reasons and bought a Yeti and looking to take out a service plan on that car. I had made 3 monthly payments on the plan for the Kodiaq which was due its service in Dec 2023, so as no service had been done I expected to either receive a refund or transfer the money to the new plan. The local Skoda dealer told me to phone Skoda finance re this matter, as they could not deal with it. on 0870 333 4449. This I did only to be told that no refund can be made as, according to the person I spoke to, I was voluntarily ending the agreement and therefore not entitled to a refund under the terms and conditions. Apparently if I had paid for the plan outright instead of monthly payments I would have lost the whole payment. That can't be right. The dealership stated that they would look into the matter but 5 days later they have not received a reply. Also, to add insult to injury, I have just received my mobile phone bill only to find that the Skoda Finance tel. no. above is a "Service Number" for which I was charged over £8 for a 13 min call. No mention either by the dealer or on the Service Plan paperwork that any call to Skoda Finance would be so charged. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
