I still have the MK2 2.0FSi estate 07 plates, however with after 11 years of driving it and 275000 miles on clock is time for a fresh one. The MK3 1.6TDi SEL become a new family member in time for xmass . The black onyx interior and 40k on clock feels good.

I've visited the Valve bodies.uk at Liverpool for Valve body rebuild however having found some brass shaving in oil pan the complete overhaul is required. Great and professional guys, just a bit too far from London. Does anyone knows auto-choice.net from CM13? They Offering two years warranty for rebuild job. Thanks for referral info.

For a fer years now I check pressure only when changing the tyre. And to be honest when going on holiday to top up for higher load. No defects not top ups. I am using puncuturesafe wfter new tyres are fitted and settle down. Last service I took two nails out. No pressure lost and thanks to pressure signal valve cap I got visual pressure check every time I look at tyre.

I've bought a pair of 581 Twenty20 Amber 92 LED 12V PY21W Indicator Canbus Bayonet Bulb. Unfortunately my Octavia MK2 has reversed polarity so bulb doesn't work on front. Didn't try to fit at back as it seems big.

I had issue with mine EGR (BVY 2.0FSI) The tooth wheel had broken tooth so wheel stuck. My mechanic lifted wheel, turned it a bit and reinserted back. Luckily the wheel now can turn again.

I 've got a second set of Black diamond grooved discs with Green stuff EBC pads at front. Great stopping power with low"dusty" rims. Not faiding in got weather or heavy Londons traffic. OEM PAGIT for rear.

Hi, I am not sure it will help, however I've converted Fog lamps into DRL on my Octavia MKII. I've used converting kit available on eBay with device enabling ti dimm DRL when main lamps comes ON. Firstly using cheap bulb replacement wasn't good and it didn't last second LED pair (£25) from another shop lasting over a year now. No issues , MOT passed 2x
