  1. They seem to have stopped selling them. Have you still got the badge rosco? I'd be happy to buy it from you
  2. I've already got domed centre on my wheel centres too and I'm happy with them. Nothing against the quality of pastyboys merchandise, I just wanted a bit of chrome on the back badge.
  3. Easiest way I found is to pull back the carpeting and use a nut driver on the two 10mm bolts that holds the bracket in place. Once that's off it's easy access to the four screws on the sides and gravity can be used to get the unit sliding out.
  4. I don't really want the printed ones. I'd bought the new style manufacturers badge already but it doesn't really sit flush. When I saw the vrs one on eBay I really liked it, but got outbid for it while out for dinner with the mrs :( Can't seem to find another one for sale anywhere now though.
  5. Anyone know where I can get my hands on one of these? I think superskoda used to sell them but can't see it now.
  6. It could be my cars twin. Same year, model, mileage, service history and even colour. I bought it last October for £3,200 from a dealership so if you can talk them down a bit it sounds in the right ballpark. Got to say I love the car too!
  7. Thanks Mac. Can't work out how to get the handbrake cover off now though! I did find a repair guide for the mk1 online but it had a different set up. It unhooks at the front on a clip, but I can't get the back end. Seems hinged and the handbrake stops it opening all the way up. Is there a guide somewhere to this?
  8. Nah I tried with long nose pliers first but the remnants of an adapter that was yanked out and snapped just broke apart. I think the whole thing needs replaced really. Checked underneath it now and there's no screw either. I know it has to click together somehow but I'll be damned if I can work out how.
  9. The white block in the photo is the power leads which were removed from the bottom of the lighter. Don't think I can get a screwdriver underneath it though without taking the whole console out :(
  10. Hopefully someone can set me straight and rescue my scratched hands. My son ripped a gadget out the cigarette lighter and the end got solidly lodged. I started to take the whole unit out figuring I can work at it or replace it that way. After working my way into access it and unplugging the power I realised that that fuse protruding from the side seems to stop the unit popping straight out the top. I've tried turning and pressing it from all angles but can't for the life of me work out how to seperate this and get the thing out. Any suggestions gratefully received.
