  1. Hi, I can only state good things about Annesley Williams here in Dublin. I have bought 2 Octavias and 3 Superbs in the last 10 years from them, and any little niggles have been sorted out promptly and without any hassle. In the last few months, they have updated their showrooms, making any waiting time(having a coffee and reading the days newspaper),an enjoyable experience. Bob.
  2. Hi Sagalout/Devonshiredave, You can add mine to your Bruno R Superb club. I have always fancied the colour since my daughter ordered it for your Yeti in 2011. It can look really well in daylight.especially after a good cleaning, but i will admit that it gets dirty very quick. I have the 2 litre,150 combi in ambition, with a lot of extras, including sunroof, electric boot, all heated seats and park assist. An absolute pleasure to drive. I am the wrong generation to download a picture-to be honest,i would not have a clue! Enjoy the ride,Devonshiredave-I have read your reports as the delivery date got nearer.
  3. Hi, Having taken delivery of my Superb Combi mk3,Ambient,2litre in early January, and generally very happy with it,i was disappointed to discover that the Skoda roof bars that i had bought for my mk2 model(s) are too short to fit across the new model-by about 2cm! And to really rub it in,when i rang Skoda to get a price for the new roof bars,i was quoted 340euros. Have had no luck so far in getting a cheaper copy version. Crazy money!
  4. Hi folks, Like many of you,i have waited since september for my 2l 150bhp combi to be delivered. It finally arrived last wednesday and it is well worth the wait. Build quality is excellent-i have owned 3 octavias and this is my 3rd superb since 2003 and it is easily the best finish of them all. This time around,i went from the 1.6l engine to the 2l and it really shows, especially when overtaking/and on motorways. The engine is quieter, and the feeling of space is more noticable(in fairness,i treated myself to a sunroof and it brightens the cabin-a lot!). Its a genuine pleasure to drive, and my advice to anyone ordering a superb is to treat yourself,if possible,to a few extras.I love the electric boot and the 4 heated seats(which now warm up within 90 seconds-the last model took over 5 minutes to really get going. I also ordered the reverse camera and the Amundsen satnav and the latter is a big improvement on the old version, but its early days yet.... Its not all good news. Skoda,i miss my c.d player! And i also miss the extra chrome protection bar lower down on each door, especially when parking in tight spaces. And what about the rail tracks in the combi boot to really keep heavy stuff securely in place. And i am a long way short of reaching the same 4.8L per 100Km i was getting on my 30km regular journey-my best so far is 6.2km per 100km. Yes,i know it will improve as the engine loosens up and the weather improves, but i did expect better. So,for anyone out there still waiting-its tough!....but its worth it.
  5. Hi. Can only add to the previous comments. I have been driving Skoda cars since 2003,including 3 Octavias and 2 Suberb Combis. Most of my extended family now have Skodas, including Superbs,Octavias(2),Roomster,and Citigo. Service has been terrific, with Ken and Sarah always in great form and the salesmen are always friendly and helpful.Pat O Neill and Paul are truly the most helpful sales team in Dublin. I have just ordered the new version of the Superb combi, with delivery in January 2016. Keep up the good work folks
  6. Hi folks. I have moved to Skoda since 2003. I have bought new octavias in 2003,2006,2009,then upgraded to superb combi in 2011,and now drive a 2014 superb combi. Its an ambition model, with a few extras, including park assist. Great cars, and i love the look of the mark 3 as shown in Geneva. Great cars, and i find the dealer in Santry,Dublin, great to do business with. I joined Briskoda earlier this year-and find it ideal for tips etc.
