Hello again guys its adam day from uk vag 20vts on facebook the police are involved and the fraud investigation. I have gave bowders the phone number to contact the fraud investigation and a crime reference number. He has ripped off loads of people and will be ringing them myself in the morning with further updates. Thanks again guys.

i have 2 bonnets in corrida red and the one on my car has about 300 stone chips and also metal showing in the corners on the bonnet where the grill meets. the sizes are of a 2p and a 5p. I also have another one which has about 2 stone chips but has 3 small dents across the mid section on/next to the creases of the bonnet. what would be best and cheapest to repair out of the 2 bonnets? thx

im new to the skoda scene but not to vag and 20vts and would like to see some more skodas on my facebook group which involves any vag with a 20vt wether its old or new. i am the only skoda octavia and would love to see another/few on the group. i would choose the carbon also as its alot more modern than the antique wood effect. if it was a classic car, wood effect all day long! but as its not it has to be carbon effect

first of all welcome mate! I know exactly what you mean about newer cars being more fuel efficient. just recently purchased my first skoda octavia vrs 03 and it is amazing to drive and fuel economy to my previous car (MK3 Golf Vr6) is totally different its like the needle never seems to move on the skoda . I think you have picked a good car . I chose the octavia as i needed more space than the golf as i have 3 kids, but wanted turbo power so i can also have some fun when on my own. there was very litlle to chose from with what i wanted and me being a massive vag fan it had to be the skoda. i love it!

welcome mate , for petrol i prefer shell V power or a high octane fuel for mine.BP is another good fuel garage i use and i avoid any supermaket petrol as they call it.

have you put it on a diagnostics to see if its throwing up any codes? maybe split pipes?

Hi guys i don't know if this is a common problem or if it has been asked? if it has then i do apologise! but the gears stick/shift tower seems to stick and not spring back . however the previous owner has replaced the spring inside and even the linkage cables that connect to the gearbox. i did find a video on youtube which is exactly the same as mine. what would be the cause and what do i need to do to make this right? any help appreciated thanks. heres the vid

I just thought id say hi to the group! just bought an 03 Octavia VRS today :)The forum looks very similar and easy to navigate like my last forum. will have many questions to ask in the near future, and glad to be on board the ship here . hope to chat to some of you enthusiast in the future.
